Driver C DeFilippi advised Stewards he was unwell and would not be attending the meeting and was replaced on his drives as per the summary below.

Following Race 2 trainers were advised to affix mudguards to their sulkies.

Race 1 - GARRARDS MOBILE TROT
Trainer T Bagrie advised Stewards on 13 July that blood tests taken from DASH DOSH revealed a blood disorder and the filly will be treated and freshened prior to resuming.
Race 5 - MATT HARRISON CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
Junior driver W House (WARLOCH), who declined assistance from a Senior driver, admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground outwards near the 1100m crowding KOWHAI NUGGET which broke losing ground. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.

LET'S GO RINGO - weakened from the 800m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
ROTTEN RODDEN - hampered by a weakening runner when over-racing for a distance passing the 800m.
OPO - over-raced middle stages.
KNOCKSHANBALLY - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
POETRY IN MOTION - hung inwards when improving wide in the middle stages.
PRIDES CONTESSA - pre-race warmed. Paced roughly shortly after the start.

Race 3   LOBURN SAWMILL FOR ALL YOUR FIREWOOD & TIMBER NEEDS PACE
The start was delayed due to MAGICAL MAX being fractious and the gelding was sent to the unruly position by the Starter where it will remain for future standing starts.
MOENUI MISS - weakened final bend.
PATRICE - held up early in the run home.
MOONLITE - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide from the 1200m. Weakened final bend. Driver B Orange reported the gelding had been striking a knee. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CHRISTIAN BALE - broke briefly at the start. Raced wide early. Paced roughly in the run home.
SHARD DE ARCH - held up final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
TROUBLESHOOTER - broke briefly passing the 150m.
TURBO FLO - weakened final bend.

ROYAL YANKEE - lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.

LIVING THE MOMENT - broke briefly after 100m losing ground. Broke again near the 700m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.

Race 5   URGEBURGER - COMING SOON PACE
The start was delayed due to ARCHIE contacting the barrier strand despite the efforts of driver A Cameron. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ARCHIE - broke at the start losing ground.
IDEAL CHEVRON - began awkwardly crowding an outside runner. Held up throughout the run home.
MAJOR PERFORMER - crowded by an inside runner at the start. Held up throughout the run home. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds in consequence.
Race 6   "HE'S ALL GO" THE WONDER DOG (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
DON JUAN - over-raced middle stages.
SARGENT BEST - raced wide early. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 600m.
WOLF OF WALL STREET - the boring pole broke leaving the final bend and came adrift. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
STAR MAGIC - raced wide from the 1400m. Lay inwards and had to be straightened by its driver near the 600m resulting in an easing of the pace hampering trailing runners before weakening.
WESTAR MOLLY - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 600m. Lay inwards near the 500m placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver H Sail reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre rounding the final bend.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - held up final bend.
BETTOR LOVER - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 600m.
OCEAN BREEZE - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 600m. Placed in restricted room near the 500m and struck the sulky wheel of WESTAR MOLLY despite the efforts of driver A Drake.
Race 7   'BUY KIWI MADE' STANDING AT WAI EYRE FARM PACE
REBOUND - weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
GOOD TIME BETTY - broke at the start losing ground.
HEAVEN - lay inwards early in the run home.
BETS ON - held up final bend.
FAREWELL SPIT - paced roughly final bend.
SPECTATOR - weakened final bend.
Race 8   THANKS TO ALL MY LOYAL OWNERS & SUPPORTERS MOBILE TROT
MOONDANCE - broke in the score up before switching to a pace and had to be restrained by its driver losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance.
SALVO - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was very disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering from seasonal complaints. Stewards will follow up the recovery with connections in the coming days.
MARTHA STUART - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
IT'S SO EASY - trotted roughly passing the 1500m. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
FREYA - lay outwards in the run home.
HERE COMES JANE - raced wide from the 700m. Broke near the 350m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 9   THANKS RANGIORA EQUINE SERVICES MOBILE PACE
KING ARTHUR - placed in restricted room by an outside runner racing into the first bend. Raced wide from the 700m. Hung inwards early in the run home.
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - raced wide early. Lay outwards in the run home. Briefly locked wheels with WRIGGLES RUFUS over the concluding stages.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - held up final bend and early in the run home. Placed in restricted room late in the run home and had to be steadied briefly locking wheels with ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - out of position at the start. Driver R May was issued a warning. Shifted inwards in the run home crowding an inside runner over the concluding stages. Mr May was also issued a warning to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
SWEET SPIRIT - out of position at the start. Driver S Ottley was issued a warning. Held up final bend.
COUNTRY GOLD - held up final bend.
NED KELLY - raced wide from the 700m.
FAST ACE - driver R Cameron was issued a warning for the manner he drove racing into the first bend when shifting inwards placing KING ARTHUR in restricted room. Mr Cameron was also warned for striking a wheel when shifting ground outwards near the 1400m. In taking this course of action Stewards were satisfied there had been no consequential effects.
