Race 1   WELCOME TO "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS" AT ALEX PARK MOBILE PACE
KATIES PRINCESS - contacted and raced inside a track marker near the 50m. Junior driver L Hibell was warned for racing inside a track marker.
WHOOSHKA - hung in over the concluding stages.
LOUEZYANA - lay inwards rounding the final bend when attempting to improve wide.
WICKED WANDA - raced wide final bend.
Race 2   TAB GOLDEN GAIT LOYALTY PROGRAMME MOBILE PACE
ALWAYSBESECRET - over-raced middle stages.
BEV THE GOAT - raced wide early stages.
SHONTELLE - paced roughly shortly after the start then raced greenly contacting several track markers racing into the first bend. Paced roughly again when weakening final bend hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalites.
HAROLD HANOVER - hung inwards rounding the final bend.
CONRAD H - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 3   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS TROT
ITMUSCLEBELOVE - broke near the 1800m losing ground. Broke again near the 300m losing its chance.
PLAY FAST AND LOOSE - fractious prior to the start and required the assistance of the starting crew. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule after LOTERIA briefly raced wider on the track near the 1200m when PLAY FAST AND LOOSE shifted ground outwards. After viewing the replays it was established that driver T Herlihy (PLAY FAST AND LOOSE) had shifted outwards prior to LOTERIA reaching its wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.
PARADISE ALI - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
MISS BEBE - broke after 100m losing all chance.
LOTERIA - broke briefly at the start then trotted roughly for a distance shortly after losing ground. Raced wider on the track for a distance passing the 1200m. Driver J Dickie lost his whip passing the 250m. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
DOLLY P - broke at the start losing ground.
Race 4   BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE
ALWAYS A PORSCHE - raced greenly near the 1700m and shifted ground outwards despite the efforts of driver T Herlihy and continued to hang outwards for a distance. Hung outwards throughout the run home. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - lay inwards contacting a track marker near the 900m.
MATAI PHIL - co-trainers P & V Blanchard were issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified blinds.
SEMBA - lay inwards leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
Race 5   "HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACEY" HANDICAP TROT
TAYLAD TO USE - broke at the start losing ground.
KIMKAR DASH - pre-race warmed.
ILSAS SON - driver C Hackett reported that she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - trotted roughly racing into the first bend then paced having to be returned to its correct gait by driver T Macfarlane losing all chance.
MAGIC DASH - when spoken to regarding the performance of one of the favoured runners driver T Mitchell advised that he put the gelding into the race and it had weakened over the concluding stages. In his opinion he believes the gelding may be suited when being held for one run.
SHEZ BELLA - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
MONARCH HILL - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
VORONOV - slow over the early stages. When spoken to regarding the performance of the gelding driver E Johnson advised that the horse had raced lethargically throughout and that she was disappointed with its efforts. Stewards will follow up the performance of the gelding with connections in the coming days.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
BLAZING LOUIE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after becoming fractious in the birdcage prior to entering the track after slipping over damaging the sulky. Stewards further requested a veterinary examination when the horse arrived at the start with the gelding being cleared to race.
ALWAYS B YOU - late scratching at 8.28am on veterinary advice.
COASTAL BABE - when spoken to regarding the performance of the filly driver T Hanara advised that she had to work hard in the early stages to obtain the lead and this took its toll at the finish of the race. Stewards will follow up the performance of the filly with connections in the coming days.
Race 7   NI STALLION EXPO AT KARAKA 27 JULY 2YO MOBILE PACE
TURN O THE TIDE - raced greenly when leading throughout.
TYSON - slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
Race 8   BOOK NOW FOR MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS AT ALEX PARK HCP TROT
LIL WHIP - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Weakened from the 900m. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the trainer.
PANTANI - pre-race warmed.
PRESIDENTIAL JEWEL - broke racing into the first bend losing ground.
Race 9   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY MOBILE PACE
MANTRA - lay inwards early in the run home.
COMMANDER LINCOLN - racing greenly shortly after the start.
