PEAKS MOMENT - trotted roughly middle stages. Broke near the 500m losing all chance.
ELLAMON - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened from the 500m.
KING OF DIAMONDS - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
MODE - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Raced greenly near the 900m and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver S Tomlinson.
BONJOUR PARIS - broke after 200m losing ground. Broke again on a number of occasions losing its chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 2   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
MANDALA - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Cox. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Weakened final bend.
THE JOLLY ROGER - paced roughly shortly after the start.
HEAVEN FORBID - weakened final bend.
THE HIGHWAYMAN - paced roughly shortly after the start. Over-raced early and middle stages.
BRANDI SNAPP - raced wide early. Held up by a weakening runner final bend. Driver J Curtin advised the filly had been striking the sulky wheels during the running.
LA CONCHA - over-raced middle stages.
WUHAN - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
BRONSKI - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.

CARVING UP - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering trailing runners
TIPSTAR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C DeFilippi. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
Race 3   HYDROFLOW TROT
PETITE TRIXTON - trotted roughly near the 900m. Held up near the 650m and lay outwards before being hampered by a breaking runner shortly after losing ground. Again trotted roughly near the 400m.
ROYAL GRACE - lay inwards and had to be straightened near the 150m.
NATIVES BLAZIN SON - broke near the 600m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ONE MHOR FOR HEATHER - crowded at the start. Shifted inwards near the 900m and struck the sulky wheel of PETITE TRIXTON. Driver R Holmes was issued a warning. When assessing this incident Stewards were satisfied there had been no consequential effects.
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - lay inwards near the 100m and had to be straightened by driver J Morrison.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD (JUNIOR DRIVERS) PACE
There was a delay to the start due to SKY ROCKET being fractious. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MIKI BENNETT - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
STAR MAGIC - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Driver K Newman was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
HE'S A BAY - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C McDowell advised it was his intention to send the gelding for a spell.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke briefly at the start. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
FLYING BIRD - driver K Tomlinson was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 5   FAHEY FENCE HIRE HANDICAP TROT
BRIAN BEATT - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
DARK GHANA - broke briefly racing into the first bend losing ground.
CROWN THE MOMENT - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Driver H Sail advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
PARIS PRINCE - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
QUIK SHARNIE - trotted roughly final bend losing ground.
MAVIS JONES - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - weakened leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners. Lay inwards throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn could offer no tangible reason. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery with blood tests recommended. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 6   HRNZ DIRECTORS APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN MOBILE PACE
COMMANDER JOE - over-raced middle stages.
MAREN FRANCO - over-raced middle stages.
DEFY ME - over-raced middle stages.
Race 7   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE TROT
THE FOX - weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BRETT'S MATE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
PYRAMID MYSTIC - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Williamson advised he will have the horse further examined by his Veterinarian in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
GEORGE ELIOT - broke late in the run home. Trainer T Grant advised he would consider making gear changes.
Race 8   GRAPHITE DEVELOPMENTS PACE
ROCKIN ROMAN - broke shortly after the start hampering an outside runner. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
THE DIAMOND HUNTER - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
BAD HABITS - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Struck the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver R Close was issued a warning. The boring pole came adrift late in the run home. This gear was inspected with trainer R Todd deemed not to be at fault.
FRANCO ELVIS - broke at the start losing ground.
SWEET TRIXIE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
BLACK BILLIE GEE - broke shortly after the start and shifted inwards abruptly hampering an inside runner with both runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
HALEY ROBYN - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver M Williamson could offer no tangible reason apart from the rise in class and he will give consideration to freshening the mare.
AUNTIE DEB - weakened final bend.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - raced wide early.
HARRISON - raced wide early.
JUDGEMENT BAY - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
THREEBEERSDEEP - when questioned regarding the performance co-trainer T White advised the gelding had peaked on its run in what was its first start back from a spell over 2600m and would derive benefit from the race.
CHOCO LOU - over-raced early stages. Held up final bend.
FAST ACE - raced wide early. Held up final bend.
