Race 1   WATCHU SECURITY MOBILE TROT
TWO FRANCS - became fractious when parading and was given dispensation from the Starter to come forward onto the mobile early. Broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
BOSS JO - late scratching at 10.05am on veterinary advice.
MAJESTIC BUNDY - back from the unruly position throughout the score up. Lay in rounding the turns.
Race 2   BARRETT HOMES - PALISADES MOBILE PACE
JAHI - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver M White stated that the gelding may not have been suited to racing without cover from the middle stages with the strong tempo.
DEBRIEF - broke near the 1400m losing ground before settling. Broke again passing the 400m checking several trailing runners and lost its chance. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners.
LATEFORDINNER - lay in during the score up and shortly after the start losing ground. Continued to lay in at various stages. Commenced to weaken near the 500m but was then checked by a breaking runner.
ALWAYS B MINE - paced roughly for a distance shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Raced wide early before being steadied to take up a position in midfield. Continued to pace roughly at various stages.
SHONNY LOU - over-raced early and middle stages. The boring pole became detached from the pole halter passing the 50m.
TYSON - checked by a breaking runner near the 400m when having to take evasive action losing ground. When questioned Driver Z Butcher advised that the colt had got back in the running from its second row draw before losing all chance with the check near the 400m.
SAYS WHO - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 3   THE WATCHU WAY MOBILE PACE
DOM TORETTO - broke early in the score up but was in position at the candy pole. Shifted out marginally under pressure early in the run home. Driver F Schumacher was spoken to advisedly in relation to making a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the home straight in future.
CYREN SHARD - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.
WHOOSHKA - over-raced middle stages.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - raced keenly middle stages. Driver C Hackett was warned for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 4   NEW ZEALAND FARMERS LIVESTOCK HANDICAP TROT
EAGLE HANOVER - held up early final turn. Required veterinary attention to an injury to the off side eye which was probably sustained when giving assistance to MAZEPPA following the event.
SONSOFTHEMERCH - broke at the start losing all chance.
MAZEPPA - the near side rein came adrift shortly after the finishing line, however the gelding was able to be pulled up with assistance from Drivers S Abernethy (EAGLE HANOVER) and A Poutama (ORDAINED).
BARSUKOV - hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
RUN FOREST RUN - broke near the 250m hampering an outside runner and lost its chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off fore fetlock which required treatment.
MR MUSCLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 5   BARRETT HOMES - MOORINGS MOBILE PACE
MAJOR MAJOR - Junior Driver Z Meredith, who declined the assistance of a senior driver, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - late scratching at 11.55am on veterinary advice.
BUGALUGS - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear.
DONTLETFEARSTOPYA - shifted out on straightening for the run home but was immediately corrected by Driver T Cameron.
BET WEST - held up late in the run home.
SLOTS - held up early final turn.

CHANGE TACT - raced wide early.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Pulled hard middle stages.

ALWAYS B STUNNING - granted permission by the Starter to come forward onto the mobile prior to the commencement of the score up.
NEXT LEVEL - granted permission by the Starter to come forward onto the mobile prior to the commencement of the score up.

TRIPLE G - over-raced early and middle stages. Shifted out on straightening for the run home but was corrected by Driver D Ferguson.

BOSS KENNY - broke near the 1400m when leading losing all chance. Broke again near the 200m when trailing the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
ULTIMATE MOMENT - broke at the start losing ground before settling. Lay in approaching the 100m and had to be corrected.
MAJESTIC RUBY - broke near the 200m.
DEL SHANNON - pre-race warmed. Broke near the 100m hampering a trailing runner.

HANNAH SOPHIA - over-raced early and middle stages. Broke near the 800m hampering a trailing runner but soon settled. Weakened final turn.

OCEAN BELLE - fractious when parading. Back from position throughout the score up despite the efforts of Driver N Chilcott. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
ROMANTICISM - broke at the start losing ground before settling. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Paced roughly near the 1200m losing ground. Broke near the 1000m when trailing the field and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
SEA OF LOVE - Driver T Macfarlane was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the middle stages of the run home.
