Stewards questioned driver C Dalgety regarding the tactics he adopted during the running. Mr Dalgety advised the gelding has raced best previously with cover however as the three wide line never became established in the back straight on the final occasion he was forced to improve wide without cover on the final bend. Mr Dalgety added that considering it was the horse's first start back from a spell he was pleased with the effort. | |

After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr DeFilippi the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr DeFilippi's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 5 July up to and including 12 July 2024 (2 days). | |
