Amateur driver M House (LORD MUDRICK) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

Race 1   DIAMOND RACING THANKS OUR OUTSTANDING STAFF MOB PACE
EL TERROR - raced wide from the 700m.
INTERPOL - trainer J McDermott was issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed. Over-raced throughout. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
BETS ON - weakened final bend hampering training runners.
WHITE STAR ORLANDO - co-trainers J & I Thomas were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed. Broke in the score up hampering outside runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced in the early stages and placed driver M House in some difficulty and was retired from the race. Mr House advised the horse had been striking its sulky wheels. Connections advised they would give consideration to the racing future of the gelding.
OPO - hampered in the score up and back slightly at the start.
VRILO - hampered in the score up and back slightly at the start. Held up final bend.

BEEPS - raced wide from the 800m.
BONO BROWN - over-raced middle stages.
HIT THE BEACH - driver C DeFilippi was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
HILDA MAUD - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the mare.
SIR MONTY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
ROTTEN RODDEN - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - over-raced middle stages.
Race 3   TYRON EROS 'GROUP 1 WINNER' TROT
ZOLTAN BOSCIK - broke near the 2300m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Trotted roughly on several occasions during the running losing ground and was retired from the race by driver J Curtin. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Curtin advised the gelding had felt uncomfortable in its action and lost the near hind shoe near the 1500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
CROWN THE MOMENT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 2300m.
BULLIT TRAIN - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
HIGH NOON - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again briefly near the 1700m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend striking a track marker.
STRIKE IT LUCKY - weakened final bend.
Race 4   DIAMOND RACING THANKS VETS, SMITHIES & BREAKERS MOB PACE
DANCE WITH THE BOSS - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Over-raced when racing wide in the early and middle stages causing driver M Northcott some difficulty.
AVENGER - trainer M House was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with sliding blinds. Driver M House admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr House's Amateur driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 6 August 2024 (6 weeks).
KNOCKSHANBALLY - driver A Edge was issued a warning for striking track markers on the final bend.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - driver W Rich will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
KOWHAI NUGGET - hung inwards and weakened rounding the final bend.

Race 5   SUNDEES SON 'SIMPLY THE BEST' TROT
ROYAL GRACE - slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MONARO MEG - shifted ground marginally at the 150m placing an outside runner in restricted room.
HOOFN IT - broke near the 2400m hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground.
SHE'S GOT SASS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Dislodged a mudguard during the running.
FEAR AND FAITH - lay inwards near the 150m and crowded an inside runner having to be corrected by driver J Morrison.
KING OF DIAMONDS - broke at the start losing ground.
PARADISE ALI - trainer M Jones was issued a warning for presenting the filly to race without the notified blinds. Broke near the 250m losing all chance.
KERRALLY - broke near the 900m losing all chance.
BEVRON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 2400m. Lay inwards near the 170m and then placed in restricted room near the 150m when runners either side shifted ground marginally.
PEAKS MOMENT - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
ROCKY IN PARADISE - broke when attempting to utilise the passing lane near the 250m losing all chance.
PYRAMID ROSE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
Race 6   HARNESS UNHINGED & WESTVIEW SYNDICATES MOBILE PACE
AMELIA ROSE - raced three wide without cover from the 700m.
MAJOR PERFORMER - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
Race 7   NEUMANN & SPARKS FAMILIES '40 YEARS PLUS SUPPORT' MOB TROT
SALVO - held up throughout the run home.
MISS YO - broke briefly in the score up however was in position at the start.
OUR PEGASUS PEARL - R Holmes was an authorised driver change replacing driver D Morrison due to the weather conditions.
PAIGE - trotted roughly on several occasions throughout the running.
IZIA - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 8   GOT THE CHOCOLATES 'GROUP 1 WINNER' MOBILE PACE
LADY VINCENT - raced parked for the first 600m and then with cover in mid-field until weakening passing the 450m. Driver B Hope advised he was disappointed with the performance adding bloods will be taken from the mare in the coming days with Stewards to follow-up the results.
MOENUI MISS - raced wide early.
TASI AHNAU - raced wide early.
MY SKATJIE - lay inwards and struck itself rounding the final bend shifting the off hind bumper wrap.
MY TEN GUITARS - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
WUHAN - raced three wide without cover from the 1100m until reaching the parked position near the 600m and paced roughly near the 900m.
DANCE MONKEY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Orange. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Orange advised the horse had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and signs of muscle tie up. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 9   DIAMOND RACING 'THANKS OUR WONDERFUL OWNERS' MOB PACE
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - held up final bend. Shifted outwards near the 120m and contacted UCANTHANDLETHETRUTH which broke briefly. Driver B Hope admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident and after viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hope's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 June up to and including 14 July 2024 (5 days).
SOFIA ROSE - over-raced middle stages.
IDEAL CHEVRON - when questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the gelding had benefited from an economical run throughout after having to work hard when racing in the parked position at its previous start.
UCANTHANDLETHETRUTH - raced three wide without cover from the 700m. Broke briefly near the 120m after being contacted by an inside runner which was shifting ground.
DON JUAN - held up final bend and again late in the run home.
