Race 1   PROTOCOL RESTAURANT & BAR MOBILE PACE
BETS ON - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start hampering a trailing runner when attempting to regain its position. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.
MY SKATJIE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after falling in the stable area and was cleared to start. Driver S O'Reilly advised she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
MAJOR CHEDDAR - over-raced early when being restrained to obtain cover. Raced wide from the 950m. Weakened final bend.
PATIRO - held up leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the gelding had been racing without luck and had benefited from a drop in calibre of horses from recent starts.
CAPTAIN KOBE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer S Dolan advised the gelding had appreciated a drop in calibre of horses from recent racing and had trained on well since its last start.
PACIFIC THUNDER - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Held up until late in the run home. Driver O Thornley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
WATERHOLES ROAD - raced wide early. Over-raced through the middle stages after being unsuccessful in obtaining the lead. Weakened final bend.
AMALFI - out of position at the start after being hampered in the score up by a breaking runner which after settling had improved to the gelding's inside in an attempt to take up its allocated position. Lay inwards final bend striking track markers. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
Starter R Donnelly was spoken to advisedly regarding the score up.

OKIWI BAY - raced wide early.
MOENUI MISS - held up late in the run home.
IVONA DADIC - connections advised the mare cast a shoe during the running.
PARTNERS IN WINE - raced wide early.
MY SWEET BELLA ROSE - weakened leaving the final bend.
UCANTHANDLETHETRUTH - when questioned regarding the improved performance co-trainer P Robertson advised that the filly had been treated for a virus since last racing. Co-trainers P & M Robertson were issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 305(c) in that they failed to report a condition that may have affected its last start performance.
DESTINY'S DREAM - held up early in the run home.
WAIKARI BARB - broke as the start was effected losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Weakened final bend.
Race 3   KB ELECTRICS MOBILE TROT
PREMIUM PLAYER - hampered by a weakening runner passing the 700m. Trotted roughly final bend.
MOONDANCE - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BRIAN BEATT - hampered by a weakening runner passing the 700m.
CRUISE LINER - weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one satisfactory trial prior to resuming.
BULLIT TRAIN - hung inwards and raced greenly approaching the first bend resulting in the horse making contact with the sulky wheel of CRUISE LINER despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. Broke passing the 1300m losing ground. Hampered by a weakening runner passing the 700m. Trotted roughly in the run home.
Race 4   XCM SPORT MOBILE PACE
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - driver R Harrison was warned for the manner in which she drove shortly after the start when crowding an inside runner.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - trainer T Bagrie was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare to race with blinds instead of the notified sliding blinds.
VRILO - held up early in the run home.
PRIDES CONTESSA - broke in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
SIR MONTY - crowded by an outside runner shortly after the start.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - raced wide early.
Race 5   REMEMBERING AMERICAN IDEAL MOBILE PACE
MILLIES SENSATION - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Holmes advised the mare had been forced to work hard during the middle stages to maintain the lead with the effort taking its toll.
BETTERTHANDIVA - driver L Dobbs was warned to show better judgement in future when failing to offer his horse some respite in the middle stages by easing to take cover when an opportunity existed. Mr Dobbs admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion passing the 1400m and again in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dobbs' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 23 June up to and including 14 July 2024 (6 days).
TREACHEROUS MISS - paced roughly through the middle stages. Held up until late in the run home. Driver R Close advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
PEARL'S A SINGER - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 6   RENWICK FARMS MOBILE TROT
COSMIC ANGEL - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - forced to race wider on the track near the 1100m.
IMPERIAL COMMAND - shifted outwards near the 1100m forcing DEM BONES DEM BONES to race wider on the track. Driver A Clark admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) and after viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200. Raced wide from the 1100m.
SALVO - connections advised the mare would be racing without front shoes. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer J Harrington advised the horse had been racing without luck and had been working well after having a hock treated as previously notified. Mr Harrington further added the mare was suited to a return to mobile racing.
ONE EL - caretaker trainers C & J DeFilippi were charged a $25 colour fee. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C DeFilippi. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
EMILY - raced wide early
RUSH - raced wide early. Driver G Smith advised the mare cast a shoe and a bell boot in the run home.
MOA MOJITO - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Morrison. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 7   BEVERAGE BROTHERS PACE
KENNEDY - held up for clear racing room in the run home.
CHANGEFORTHEBETA - raced wide from the 1100m.
NOT OVER - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
GOORAMBAT ART - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver T Chmiel advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
STUBING - cast a bell boot in the home straight. Held up late in the run home.
