Race 1 - GOLD BAND TAXIS (AMATEUR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
Trainer J McDermott advised Stewards on 11 June blood tests taken from INTERPOL showed signs of muscle tie-up which is being treated. Mr McDermott added he will also be changing the gelding's feeding regime.
Race 4 - CAMELOT 1984 NZ CUP WINNER MOBILE PACE
Stable Representative C Dalgety advised Stewards bloods taken from CHICAGO BEAR showed the gelding to be suffering from a virus which is being treated.
Race 6 - CALLIE'S DELIGHT GROUP ONE WINNER MOBILE PACE
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 11 June MAJOR PERFORMER has had a fetlock treated and also been treated for a virus since last racing.
Trainer B Zampese advised Stewards on 12 June SPIRITUAL BLISS has recovered well from its last start and will be continuing with its current preparation.

ZOJm5gI664Q TIPSTAR - co-trainers C & J DeFilippi were issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed. Weakened final bend.
RACK'EM UP - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung inwards throughout the run home having to be corrected by driver J Cox on several occasions. Mr Cox was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.

GiYIpfHYGR4 CLOVELLY HILL - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 150m in the early stages. Driver R Close did not contest the protest and CLOVELLY HILL was disqualified by the Stewards.
BEVRON - over-raced middle stages.
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - trainer T Barron was issued a warning for being late to present the filly on course.
THE GARDENER'S PRIDE - trainer B Lomas was issued a warning for being late to present the mare on course. Weakened near the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - trainer G Smith was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to present the gelding on course. Mr Smith was also warned for failing to have mudguards affixed. Broke near the 1800m losing ground. Hampered near the 1100m and struck several track markers after being crowded and broke near the 1000m losing all chance. Mr Smith was warned for the manner in which he restrained his breaking runner near the 900m.
CROSSED KEYS - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised that although the filly had raced in the parked position through the middle stages she was disappointed with the effort.
OUR EVIE RAE - slow to begin.
BONJOUR PARIS - broke near the 2100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
KING OF DIAMONDS - trainer K Cameron was issued a warning for being late to present the gelding on course. Mr Cameron was also warned for failing to have mudguards affixed. Hung inwards near the 1100m crowding an inside runner. Held up final bend and until late in the run home. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

SHAKIRA - shifted inwards passing the 1700m crowding an inside runner.
FLYING BIRD - lay inwards near the 1500m striking a track marker. Held up early in the run home.
WHAT A MINX - raced wide early and middle stages.
MAREN FRANCO - held up rounding the final bend.
JUDGEMENT BAY - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.
TROJAN PRINCESS - had to be steadied passing the 700m after an easing of the pace.
FIRST ROSE - had to be steadied passing the 700m after an easing of the pace. Weakened final bend.
DOUBLE QUICK - raced wide early and middle stages. Hung inwards on several occasions in the run home.
WOODLEA JEWEL - slow to leave the pre-race formation. Raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised in his opinion the mare failed to handle the track conditions.

WLVhrJ58Ub8 ELIZABETH HILL - co-trainers S & A Telfer were warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing with removable deafeners and without the notified anti-choke device. Held up final bend.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MM SUNSHINE - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FIGHT FOR FREEDOM - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Butt advised the gelding had over-raced through the middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
MISSALYSSA - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MOSES - raced wide from the 700m. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the run home.
GEORGE ELIOT - trainer T Grant advised the mare has been treated for muscle tie-up since last racing.

ytk36ae3bK0 HERB - held up by a weakening runner near the 600m. Driver R Close was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion rounding the final bend.
DONE ROCKN - weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners. Lay inwards near the 300m striking track markers. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
PURE COURAGE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Held up by a weakening runner near the 600m.
STEPHS BOY - over-raced when racing in the parked position in the middle stages.
EDDIE OSEI - held up by a weakening runner near the 600m.

PAIGE - hung outwards throughout the run home when attempting to shift inwards into the passing lane.
HAROLD SMITH - trainer T Bagrie was warned for presenting the gelding to race without the notified blinds. Slow to begin. Junior driver S Hill (assisted by R May) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hill's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 23 June 2024 (2 days).
Following this race the track was downgraded to Slushy.

LESTER - briefly hampered leaving the final bend. Driver K Butt reported the gelding had hung at various stages during the running.
BUCKSKIN - weakened final bend.
HEISENBERG - paced roughly leaving the final bend briefly hampering a trailing runner.

KOTARE KELSO - lay inwards shortly after the start crowding an inside runner.
SHARDS MATRIX - paced roughly passing the 100m.
MIKI'S COURAGE - paced roughly shortly after the start. Raced wide early.
SPIRIT OF ANARCHY - raced wide early. Driver C Dalgety was warned for the manner he drove rounding the first bend when jostling for a position when not entitled to do so.

1i7G45dtCpY T K MEGASTAR - a false start was declared when T K MEGASTAR broke late in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver R Holmes elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
BRETT'S MATE - shifted outwards leaving the final bend briefly locking wheels with A FINE PATRICK which broke losing its chance. Stewards questioned drivers J Dunn (A FINE PATRICK) and K Cameron (BRETT'S MATE) regarding this matter where it was established that Mr Cameron had shifted outwards in a gradual and acceptable manner, however, A FINE PATRICK had hung inwards and proved difficult for Mr Dunn to shift wider on the track to accommodate the manoeuvre. After viewing the replays and considering both drivers explanation Stewards could not apportion blame on either driver and took the matter no further.
STYX JEWEL - trotted roughly in the run home. Driver W House advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - driver J Young-Grant was warned for shifting inwards and striking the final track marker prior to the passing lane.
PRINCE TEKA - driver I Cameron was warned for his lack of control when allowing his runner to shift outwards rounding the final bend.
MASTER CLASS - driver K Butt advised the gelding had over-raced when in the parked position.
BONNIE BAGRIE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver J Morrison advised the mare had benefited from gear changes and had performed well at a recent trial.
A FINE PATRICK - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance and hampering a trailing runner after briefly locking wheels with BRETT'S MATE.

BRONSKI - raced wide from the 900m.
BLACK BILLIE GEE - hampered final bend by a weakening runner.
QUICKER THAN QUICK - broke briefly and then paced roughly over the concluding stages. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation and was in the correct gait when its nose reached the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small abrasion on the right front leg which was treated.
MAGICIAN - pre-race warmed.
MELTON MAGNATE - trainer G Payne was warned for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with removable deafeners.
TRUMP CARD - raced wide early.
CARVING UP - hampered final bend by a weakening runner.
MELTON ENFORCER - weakened leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners before breaking and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised although the gelding had worked hard through the early stages to obtain the lead he was disappointed with the effort after being able to gain some respite through the middle stages.
MY TEN GUITARS - briefly crowded by an outside runner passing the 100m.

FITZTHEBILL - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
HAYLEY'S MEDDLE - shifted marginally outwards in the score up hampering an outside runner. Out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BLACK MACH - hung inwards in the score up before breaking and losing all chance when an inside runner shifted marginally outwards. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
