Race 1   BRECKON FARMS LTD MOBILE PACE
LORTON VALE - held up by a weakening runner final bend. Held up again through the early and middle stages of the run home.
FABRICATE - held up final bend.
HIT THE LIGHTS - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver K Green advised she was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
Race 2   ALABAR NZ FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
ULTIMATE CULLECT - lay out rounding the final bend.
RAGING NATIVE - raced wide early. Lay in over the concluding stages.
MAGNETIC DAUGHTER - paced roughly shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
Race 3   MARSHALL INDUSTRIES LTD TROT
JAY BEE HILL - tangled away.
BROWN EYED GIRL - broke passing the 1400m hampering a trailing runner and losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
BURNING LOVE - trainer K Green was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after presenting the mare in fixed deafeners instead of the notified removable deafeners.
PHISHING - briefly hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m.
MOONLIGHT ANGEL - broke at the start losing ground.
SONNY JIM - broke after 150m losing considerable ground.
ZEKE - driver C Ferguson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
FATHER ON DOWN - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Raced wide from the 1200m. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
STELLA BAY - held up final bend. Lay in over the concluding stages.
PYRAMID ROSE - broke rounding the first bend hampering a trailing runner and losing considerable ground. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Lay in rounding the final bend striking track markers.
Race 4   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
MAJOR MEDLEY - shifted up the track throughout the home straight despite the efforts of driver B Barclay.
RYLAN CHARLIE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
STILTON LORD - paced roughly for a distance racing into the first bend when placed in restricted room by an outside runner. Weakened from the 600m. Stood down to complete one trial in a competitive manner to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
SUMMIT ULTRA - lay in throughout the run home.
RACIE DALE - shifted inwards racing into the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver S Walkinshaw was warned for the manner he shifted ground at this point.
MAKAREWA MIKI - fractious prior to the start. Weakened from the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a high heart rate. Stewards will follow up with trainer B Gray in the coming days.
GLENKENICK - shied at the tractor in the preliminary and shifted abruptly sideways dislodging driver H Douglas from the sulky and galloping for a considerable distance before being recaptured. Underwent a veterinary examination and cleared of injury other than some chafing marks from the hopples. Declared a late scratching at 1.05pm. Mr Douglas was examined by the on-course St John Paramedics and cleared to fulfill his remaining driving engagement.
AJUSTABULL - broke early in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ETERNAL DREAM - driver B Williamson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $275.
BUCKIE DUNDEE - over-raced through the middle stages. Driver A Kyle admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
Race 5   SOUTHBUILD ITM MOBILE TROT
MC SQUARED - weakened final bend.
ANOTHER DEMON - lay in when weakening final bend dislodging a track marker. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised that the mare had failed to finish the race off after leading and may be better suited to being saved for one run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the left hind leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
JORDAN ANNE - broke briefly passing the 150m.
ELIZABETH HILL - weakened over the concluding stages. When asked to comment on the performance driver J Cox advised he was disappointed with the run and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
JOY JACCKA - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards passing the 1200m.
Race 6   SINCLAIR FAMILY MOBILE PACE
STILLYOURSHOT - lay in throughout the run home having to be straightened by driver B Barclay. Mr Barclay reported he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
WEHAVTIME - held up through the middle stages of the run home.
WARD LAMON - lay in near the 150m having to be straightened by driver K Larsen. Mr Larsen was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
FRANCO SAILOR - raced wide early stages.
MATAU MARIA - paced roughly when racing wide in the early stages.
Race 7   SUBWAY WINTON HANDICAP TROT
HUCKLEBERRY - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B McIntyre.
DIGNIFY - weakened final bend.
JACCKA BAYLIS - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.
DEL'S CREATION - broke at the start losing all chance.

Race 10   WINTER REWARDS FINALS DAY 29TH JUNE MOBILE PACE
BROOKIES PLAYER - shifted ground outwards passing the 80m checking and hampering RAKAMURPH.
FLYING BIRD - raced wide early. Briefly hampered near the 80m.
RAKAMURPH - checked and hampered passing the 80m when BROOKIES PLAYER (C Ferguson) shifted ground outwards. Stewards spoke with drivers N Williamson (RAKAMURPH) and C Ferguson regarding this incident where it was established that BROOKIES PLAYER had overreacted when shifting out and despite the efforts of Mr Ferguson had contacted RAKAMURPH. Mr Williamson advised that when he attempted to accommodate the shift of BROOKIES PLAYER his gelding had lay in onto the boring pole and he was unable to move his runner wider on the track. After viewing the replays which supported the explanation of both drivers Stewards took no further action other than to place a warning on the racing record of BROOKIES PLAYER.
