Trainer M White advised Stewards on 18 May that PARAMOUNT KIWI has developed a quarter crack on the off fore which will require remedial shoeing. Stewards will follow up with Mr White in the coming days.

VINNIE SIMS - struck the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver R Holmes was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
SOLAR NEIGH - held up final bend and early in the run home.
DREAM BOYZ - raced wide early.
MY SWEET BELLA ROSE - over-raced middle stages.
CHANGEFORTHEBETA - hampered passing the 1000m after being shifted wider on the track.
WHOSDREAMINGNOW - raced wide from the 1100m.
COSMIC STAR - raced wide from the 1100m.
AMALFI - hung inwards at various stages throughout.
LE TWIST - driver S Ottley defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging she drove carelessly when shifting outwards near the 1000m hampering CHANGEFORTHEBETA (M Williamson). After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the charge.
Race 2   THE TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE
GATECRASHER - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had failed to respond when placed under pressure and he was disappointed with the effort.
EDDIE OSEI - over-raced early stages.
SKY VALE - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver G Smith advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CHOCO LOU - driver C DeFilippi admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 1100m when allowing his horse to strike the sulky wheel of ACENTO with the tyre puncturing. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
VICTOR LUSTIG - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ACENTO - raced wide early. Driver R Holmes reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1100m.
Race 3   DAWE CONTRACTING TROT
NATIVES INFERNO - driver J Curtin advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
ONE EL - began awkwardly.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - broke racing into the first bend hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
GINAS MAJESTY - driver I Cameron was warned for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
DIDJABRINGTHEBUBBLES - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Hung inwards rounding the final bend losing ground.
HERE COMES JANE - over-raced middle stages.

MAJOR LINC - trainer B Negus was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with sliding blinds which had not been notified.
WAVEBYDESIGN - trainer S Adlam was issued a warning for being late to present the mare on course.
CARVING UP - raced wide early. Hung outwards throughout the run home when utilising the passing lane.
QUICKER THAN QUICK - raced wide early.
KEEPING IT KIWI - held up early in the run home.
KOTARE KELSO - hung inwards and paced roughly throughout the run home. Driver T Williams advised the gelding had been striking its sulky wheels.
Race 5   ANNE THOMPSON GRADUATION FINAL (TROT)
SPOTLIGHT - broke at the start losing all chance.
FORGIVENESS - raced wide from the 1300m.
BODACIOUS - broke at the start losing all chance.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - co-trainers R & J Dunn were issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified pacifier. Broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TOP OF THE HILL - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer S Payne advised he was disappointed with the performance of the gelding and would have blood taken in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results with Mr Payne. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MY ROYAL BREAK - over-raced middle stages.
HEARTBREAK HOTEL - struck track markers rounding the first bend. Driver G Smith was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Broke near the 2100m losing all chance.
CALL ME THE BREEZE - hung inwards throughout the run home causing driver S Ottley some difficulty.

KALATRA - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
TOWER OF LOVE - driver B Orange advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.

SOCIAL DISTANCING - held up final bend and early in the run home. Driver T Chmiel was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.

MAJOR PERFORMER - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.

HAZER - broke briefly at the start. Held up rounding the final bend.

A false start was declared due to WARLOCH becoming fractious and hampering PERAKI SEELSTER prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
PERAKI SEELSTER - held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner.
ITSAMONEYMAKER - junior driver R Harrison (assisted by J Dunn) was issued a warning for allowing her runner to come to the start out of position at the first attempt at a start. Hampered final bend by a weakening runner.
WARLOCH - junior driver W House (assisted by R May) was issued a warning for allowing his runner to come to the start out of position at the first attempt at a start. Broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
JOSE QUIVERA - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with connections in the coming days.
KIWI HERO - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
JIMMYRAY - hampered at the start.
Starter R Donnelly was reminded of his obligations to ensure all runners are in their correct position when addressing the barrier strand.

LIVING THE MOMENT - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Weakened final bend before breaking near the 450m hampering a trailing runner. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
DD'S SUPER STUART - over-raced middle stages.
SUNNY LOUIS - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
PARIS PRINCE - broke at the start losing ground. Driver J Stormont was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SONOMA TYRON - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
KAIRAKI SPUR - broke leaving the final bend when leading losing all chance.
IZIA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
LUVAVICI - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground.

FORD RULE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
HOPE FOR LOVE - driver A Tomlinson was warned for using her whip free of the rein on one occasion shortly after the start. Mrs Tomlinson was also warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
SARGENT BEST - driver M Williamson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
ARCHIE - over-raced when racing in the parked position through the middle stages.
