Junior driver R Harrison (BONO BROWN) assisted by J Dunn, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Harrison's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 5 May up to and including 12 May 2024 (2 days). |

Driver J Morrison (ASIAN ELVIS) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in the early stages when shifting inwards and striking the sulky wheel of PLAYING WITH STARS which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. |

A protest was lodged under Rule 869A(2) by junior driver S Hill (JOAN'S RISING STAR) placed 3rd, against 2nd placing being awarded to DOUBLE QUICK (B Orange) alleging interference in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and DOUBLE QUICK was relegated to 3rd placing. Driver B Orange defended an associated charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when allowing his horse to shift inwards in the run home and lock wheels with JOAN'S RISING STAR. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Mr Orange and Stewards, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the charge and Mr Orange's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 10 May up to and including 15 May 2024 (3 days). |
