Race 1   ANNE THOMPSON GRADUATION SERIES (HEAT 1) TROT
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - broke at the start losing all chance. Broke again rounding the final bend when trailing the field.
PYRAMID ROSE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer M Williamson.
TINKERBELLE - broke at the start losing ground.
GOLD NUGGET - lay outwards throughout the run home.
MOONLIGHT ANGEL - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
IMPERIAL COMMAND - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 2   ANNE THOMPSON GRADUATION (HEAT 1) MOBILE PACE
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.

WILD IRISH ROSE - lay outwards rounding the final bend causing driver R May some difficulty and struck a track marker in consequence. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MILLIE LOU - gave ground over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer J Dunn advised they were very disappointed with the effort and blood tests will be taken from the filly in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results.
MOENUI MISS - held up for clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home.
TAKE A SELFIE - hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 700m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
Race 3   ANNE THOMPSON GRADUATION SERIES (HEAT 2) TROT
HAYLEY MHOR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance after the crupper came adrift and was retired from the race.
PROHIBITED BID - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened from the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance driver G O'Reilly advised the mare had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
BODACIOUS - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
CALL ME THE BREEZE - slow to begin. Broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke again passing the 900m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
HEARTBREAK HOTEL - broke passing the 200m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trainer/driver G Smith advised he will be having the gelding examined by the stable Veterinarian in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
Race 4   ANNE THOMPSON GRADUATION (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
VERDUCCI - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
CAPTAIN DASH - weakened passing the 500m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
UCANTHANDLETHETRUTH - co-trainers P & M Robertson were issued a warning for presenting the filly to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified. Raced wide early.
GOOD TIME BETTY - raced wide early. Lay inwards leaving the final bend striking a track marker.
BELMONT REVOLUTION - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
MY SKATJIE - shifted inwards near the 2450m placing an inside runner in restricted room. When questioned regarding this Driver C Markham advised that his horse had been hanging inwards at various stages during the running causing him difficulty and he would be considering making gear changes prior to resuming. Stewards placed a warning on the racing record of the gelding. Notwithstanding this Mr Markham was advised to make a greater effort to keep his runner straight in similar circumstances in future. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful there had been minimal consequential effects. Lay inwards on the bends striking track markers. Mr Markham advised the gelding had cast a shoe during the running.
JAZZYS UPSTART - raced wide early.
TEETAN - broke briefly at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WOODLEA DIAMOND - over-raced middle stages.
WATERHOLES ROAD - placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 2450m. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
CHAMPAGNE NEN - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.

SHINE ALL OVER ME - held up early in the run home.
ACENTO - broke at the start losing ground. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
PALATABLE - broke at the start losing ground.
IDEAL DOUBLE - briefly jostled for a position with BITTER SWEET near the 2300m.

Race 7   CANTERBURY PLAINS CHALLENGE (HEAT 5) MOBILE PACE
STAR MAGIC - lay outwards rounding the final bend.
KENNEDY - lay inwards rounding the first bend checking an inside runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
EBURY STREET - checked by an outside runner which lay inwards rounding the first bend.
COURAGE REACTOR - held up early in the run home.
Race 8   WAIMAKARIRI BUSINESSES RANGIORA WINTER CUP (HCP PACE)
HEZA SPORT - broke briefly at the start.
TACT MCLEOD - broke briefly at the start.
PINSEEKER - gave ground over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox advised the gelding had to work hard through the middle stages and may be feeling the effects of recent racing and he would give consideration to sending the horse for a spell.
HERE'S HERBIE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start due to the gelding warming up unfavourably.
DALTON SHARD - broke at the start losing ground.
MIGHTY LOOEE - broke at the start losing ground.
Race 9   THE TYRE GENERAL PACE
MANDALAY BAY - held up leaving the final bend.
SZYBKA LANE - weakened rounding the final bend.
KIWI HERO - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home and was unable to be driven out over the concluding stages.
Race 10   HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY WARNER DONALD TROT
TRANSTASMAN BUBBLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
SUNNY LOUIS - raced wide early. Gave ground over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Morrison advised the entire had to work hard in the early stages to obtain the parked position and this may have taken its toll.
WESTAR MILLY - broke at the start losing ground.
EMILY - held up early in the run home.
Race 11   CANTERBURY PLAINS CHALLENGE (HEAT 6) MOBILE PACE
NED KELLY - lay outwards throughout the run home. Driver M Williamson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners as a consequence.
BETTER FLY - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
EXPRESSIVE LOVE - lay inwards throughout the running. Weakened passing the 400m hampering a trailing runner.
FERNZ GOLDY - out of position at the start. Driver D Dolan was issued a warning.
GET IT ON - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver S Tomlinson advised she did not activate the sliding blinds as a consequence.
PHILADELPHIA FILLY - driver A Cameron advised that one sliding blind had failed to activate.
