At an adjourned hearing on 19 April, driver T Grant (GEORGE ELIOT) defended a charge under Rule 868(2) alleging he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible finishing place by failing to show sufficient vigour in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence, the Adjudicative Committee reserved their decision. |

Driver L Dobbs (BETTERTHANDIVA) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein, with more than a wrist flicking motion and when out of contention in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dobbs' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 April up to and including 5 May 2024 (3 days). |

Mr Nairn defended the charge and after viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Nairn, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved.
