Race 1   NATIONAL STYLE STAKES AT ALEX PARK FRI 24 MAY HANDICAP TROT
TAYLAD TO USE - broke near the 1400m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Weakened final turn.
MAZEPPA - fractious prior to the start. Hampered by a breaking runner approaching the 1300m and was then caught wide before obtaining a position in the running line near the 1100m. Weakened from the 800m. Driver L Chin reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
BOSS KENNY - pre-race warmed. Cast a bell boot then broke over the concluding stages.
INASINGLEMOMENT - raced wide early.
BANGKOK BETTY - raced four wide from the 650m.
A TROPHY WIFE - raced wide early.
DIAMANT BLEU - slow to begin. Raced wider on the track near the 1900m when improving to the outside of ALDEBARAN PIPPI which shifted away from the marker line. It was established that Driver B Hackett (ALDEBARAN PIPPI) had commenced his outward movement prior to DIAMANT BLEU reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. Weakened in the run home.
ALDEBARAN PIPPI - Driver B Hackett was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion on one occasion near the 250m.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - cleared from the unruly for future stands.
Race 2   GOLDEN GAIT - TO EARN POINTS ENTER YOUR HORSE NOW MOB PACE
EXHILARATE - weakened leaving the final turn. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the manner in which Junior Driver T Hanara used her whip in the run home with the matter being adjourned sine die due to Ms Hanara having left the course.
LINCOLN LA MOOSE - checked and broke racing into the first turn losing ground. Broke again near the 1800m losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions on the near fore pastern and hock.
MYDADTHETERROR - hampered by a breaking runner first turn and paced roughly losing ground.
TUGAWAR - tightened racing into the first turn and shifted inwards checking an inside runner.
PETER FORSBERG - lay in entering the first turn despite the efforts of Driver J Abernethy checking inside runners. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Weakened leaving the final turn.
CLOUDING OVER - hampered by a breaking runner first turn losing ground.
MANTRA - lay in and contacted several track markers near the 1750m and then again near the 750m dislodging a track marker.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - lay in and contacted track markers rounding the first turn.
IRON BRIGADE - cleared from the unruly for future mobiles.
Race 3   IRT YOUNG GUNS 2YO TROTTERS SERIES HEAT 1 MOBILE TROT
PRETTY IN PINK - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
ILLICIT LOVE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier manners. Broke again near the 600m losing all chance.
FINAL APPROACH - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the colt's barrier manners.
MEANT TO BE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Stewards lodged a protest against the 2nd placing being awarded to this runner on the grounds that it broke in excess of 150m over the early stages. The protest was not contested by connections and MEANT TO BE was disqualified by Stewards. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Placed on the unruly for future mobiles at the trainers' request.
TRAVELIN SOLDIER - shifted out rounding the final turn and had to be corrected.
Race 4   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY MOBILE PACE
INLOUOF - raced roughly shortly after the start. Lay in and contacted a track marker near the 300m.
IMA SPORTYANGEL - broke near the 350m hampering a trailing runner and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
BIGGER THE BETTOR - over-raced when being restrained shortly after the start.
I CAN TOO - raced keenly approaching the 1700m when being steadied to take a trail.
DOMINUS - hung in and paced roughly near the 450m having to be steadied then continued to pace roughly for a distance. Lay in late in the run home having to be corrected.
BETA PREPARE - raced wide early.
DEAR GOD - lay inwards dislodging a track marker near the 700m. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
Race 5   BORDER FENCING SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
KIMKAR DASH - pre-race warmed. Began awkwardly and was slow early. Forced to race wide from the 950m.
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - lay in contacting track markers final turn. Locked stays briefly with an outside runner passing the 50m.
JASINOVA - Trainer L Chin was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix the near hind bandage so as not to come adrift.
SHEZ BELLA - hampered briefly by a weakening runner final turn.
SOUTHERN DIAMOND - broke at the start losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
KISS AND RUN - over-raced middle stages.
MONARCH HILL - lay in and broke rounding the first turn losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
