K Tomlinson reported to Stewards that she was unwell and unable to attend this meeting. Miss Tomlinson was advised that a Medical Clearance would be required prior to her resuming driving and was replaced on her drives today as per the Summary below.

SUMMIT ULTRA - over-raced near the 1800m when being restrained to take cover.
FABRICATE - raced wide early.

RUSHKINOFF - lay inwards early in the run home becoming awkwardly placed on the sulky wheel of FABRICATE.

FRANCO HUNTINGTON - held up through the middle stages of the final straight only obtaining clear racing room late in the run home.
GUNNER ANDY - connections advised the gelding has had its fetlocks treated since last racing.
ARLO MAGUIRE - over-raced through the middle stages.

DREAMS ARE FREE - lay out rounding the final bend.
Race 4   DES LTD TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt when Starter N Popham was not satisfied with the manner the runners had addressed the barrier with the field being turned away.
A second false start was declared when KYLE LOCH, which had become fractious prior to the start, refused to come into line hampering second line runners. Sent to the Unruly position for the restart. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. In assessing this penalty Stewards took into account KYLE LOCH had become worked up following the initial false start.
SON OF THE CLEANER - slow in the early stages. Raced three wide from the 1900m.
KYLE LOCH - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1700m then over-raced through the middle stages.
OUR SUPERFUND - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground then broke again shortly after losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
XERION - raced wide early and then three wide with cover from the 1100m.
HUCKLEBERRY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1100m.
SHANDON BELLS - raced three wide with cover from the 1900m. Held up early in the run home.
JORDAN ANNE - raced three wide through the middle stages.
MOMENT OF WHAT - raced wide early. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages having to be steadied by driver B Orange.
Race 5   MURRAY GRAY MEMORIAL 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS MOBILE PACE
MOON LIGHT TERROR - lay in when weakening passing the 400m striking track markers.
BY CHANCE - weakened over the concluding stages.

FIREFOREFIDDLE - held up through the early and middle stages of the run home.
CONNIE JACCKA - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1550m.
JENNY GUMP - over-raced shortly after the start when being restrained to take cover.
WESTAR MOLLY - briefly locked wheels with ROBYNS HUSTLER leaving the pre-race formation and was out of position at the candy pole. Driver H Douglas was spoken to regarding his perceived lack of intent to take up his correct barrier position by the candy pole.

Race 7   JIM McCONNELL/VIE OVERTON MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
IMPERIAL LAZ - raced over several track markers near the 800m when laying in and racing in tight quarters. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 650m. Stewards spoke with drivers B Orange (IMPERIAL LAZ) and R Austin (LA BAMBA) regarding the incident near the 800m where it was established IMPERIAL LAZ was laying in with no driver deemed to be at fault.
JONJONDAGOOSEHASGONE - broke passing the 650m when in restricted room, hampering trailing runners.
REAL SPORT - weakened final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare. Connections advised the mare had been striking a knee and they will be making a gear change in an effort to rectify this tendency.
HAVARTI ARDEN - hampered racing into first bend and broke in consequence, with the mare being retired from the race. Driver S O'Reilly reported she had sustained a punctured sulky tyre soon after the start when contacted by BIG BOYZ TOY which was over-racing.
LA BAMBA - weakened final bend.
TED - raced without the off-front plate after losing it in the preliminary. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
GEMS DELIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 650m.
FRANCO SAILOR - lay in and raced greenly rounding the final bend contacting a track marker.
ON THE BEACH - drivers R McIlwrick (ON THE BEACH) and O Kite (JONJONDAGOOSEHASGONE) were spoken to regarding an incident near the 650 metres. After viewing the films and hearing from the drivers, it was established that no one horse or driver were at fault and it was deemed to be a racing incident.
BIG BOYZ TOY - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver K Green. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Raced fiercely when three wide in the early stages before being retired from the race near the 1400m. Miss Green reported that the gelding had been striking the sulky discs. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
Race 8   ENTAIN 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
DELIGHTFUL PEG - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination around at the start and was declared a late scratching at 2.29pm after being found to have Grade 3 lameness in the right hind leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
FOREVER DREAM - underwent a post-race Veterinary examination at the request of connections which revealed the filly to be moderately lame in the off foreleg. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
CAPTAINS MISTRESS - lay inwards over the concluding stages having to be straightened by driver N Williamson.
Race 9   STEARNE ROOFING LTD WINTON CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
FLYING ELLIE - broke at the start losing ground.
STILL ROCKIN - lay inwards at various stages throughout. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
JORDY - began awkwardly. Lay inwards at various stages throughout.
BRYCE'S MEDDLE - raced wide early.
Race 10   VETSOUTH EQUINE/SSBA SOUTHERN BELLE FINAL (MOBILE PACE)
TAKEITOUT - lay inwards rounding the first bend.
KAHLUA FLYBYE - a post-race Endoscopic and Veterinary examination at the request of driver T Williams revealed no apparent abnormality.
FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - lay in rounding the first bend.
INSARCHATWIST - placed in restricted room having to be steadied near the 1100m.
JOES ROCK - raced wide early. Shifted ground inwards near the 1100m placing INSARCHATWIST in restricted room which had to be steadied. Driver B Orange was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground.
Race 11   COX FAMILY HANDICAP TROT
BLITHE - broke briefly at the start. Broke again rounding the first bend losing ground. Weakened final bend.
PYRAMID MYSTIC - broke rounding the first bend. Shifted ground inwards near the 1300m making contact with FIERY BANDITO which broke in consequence. Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry into this incident. Weakened final bend.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
MAJESTIC LOVE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
DOMINATION'S CALL - connections requested a post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding which revealed no apparent abnormality.
ONE TWO MENNY - trotted roughly and weakened from the 700m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
JIMMY CARTER - driver K Bublitz was issued with a $200 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 858(1)(a) for delaying the start by completing an extra circle when the remainder of the field were in position.
FIERY BANDITO - driver K Green was issued with a $200 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 858(1)(a) for delaying the start by completing an extra circle when the remainder of the field were in position. Broke passing the 1300m when contacted by PYRAMID MYSTIC losing ground.
Race 12   McCONACHIE SHEARING LTD MOBILE PACE
SPORTY CHARLIE - lay out leaving the final bend and weakened over the concluding stages.
BRIDGET LOUISE - placed in restricted room by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - over-raced in the parked position through the middle stages. Lay out when weakening leaving the final bend placing outside runners in restricted room.
SINAI SERMON - held up leaving the final bend.
TEDDY BAKER - placed in restricted room by a weakening runner leaving the final bend. When asked to comment on the performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised that the gelding had become stirred up prior to the start of the race and had performed disappointingly thereafter.
MR PRESIDENT - placed in restricted room by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
TRAIL BOSS - hampered in the score up however was in position at the start. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
