Race 1   CHEVIOT HRC WELCOMES ALL ON TRACK TODAY TROT
OSMIUM - the required veterinary clearance was received. Tangled away. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 100m.
TINKERBELLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
FORGIVENESS - broke passing the 200m hampering an outside runner near the 100m and lost its chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
HAYLEY MHOR - fractious prior to the start.
CALL ME THE BREEZE - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer B Ward.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - trotted roughly near the 2100m losing ground. Broke near the 1600m losing all chance.
WHISPERING MAJESTIC - shifted outwards at the start making contact with an outside runner and broke losing ground. Broke again racing into the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
SAXON REIGNS - pre-race warmed. Crowded at the start when runners either side shifted ground unbalancing driver T Williams momentarily. Broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DEL'S CREATION - driver B Orange advised he did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
A REASON TO FIGHT - broke rounding the first bend losing all chance.
SPOTLIGHT - broke near the 2100m losing all chance.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
DANCING GLENIS - driver R Anderson was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein in the run home.
EASY MCCARTNEY - slow over the early and middle stages and was unable to make contact with the field. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 2   GLEN McNABB EARTHMOVING & ENGINEERING MOBILE PACE
MIDSUMMER DREAMING - lay inwards and contacted track markers on the bends. Weakened rounding the final bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver A Drake was spoken to regarding the manner in which he drove on the final bend. Mr Drake advised Stewards that connections will be making gear changes prior to the horse's next start.
PICCADILLY PETE - driver C Dalgety advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
GOOD TIME BETTY - raced wide early.
FULHAM JIVE - raced wide from the 600m.
TEETAN - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

BEAUDIENE HUNTER - raced roughly for a distance shortly after the start.

SILVERLININGS - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide through the middle stages. Broke near the 300m and lay inwards dislodging a track marker losing its chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
MAKE MY DAY - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
SUPERFAST GORSEY - held up final bend.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - lay inwards rounding the final bend when weakening striking a track marker and then broke near the 150m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
HIGH NOON - held up early in the run home.
PATRICK SWAYZE - weakened from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Trainer B Williams advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
Race 5   DONAGHY'S MOBILE PACE
POST PAINTER - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke again near the 400m losing ground.
TAKE A SELFIE - lay inwards when weakening near the 300m and struck a track marker.
SHAPELY - raced wide early.
JUKEBOX GYPSY - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
ULTIMATE SEISATION - raced wide early.
DOUBLE QUICK - raced wide from the 1300m.
ESTER LUCY - weakened from the 600m. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
Race 6   GH BUILDERS LTD HANDICAP PACE
BLAZING REACTOR - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
ITSAMONEYMAKER - raced wide early.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - raced wide early.
TEDS LEGACY - hung inwards rounding the final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
ONWARDSANDUPWARDS - held up early in the run home.
HE'S TOUGH - broke at the start losing ground. Held up throughout the run home. Authorisation of placings was withheld after driver K Butt lodged a Request for a Ruling with the Adjudicative Committee under Rule 213(1)(j) to determine whether the gelding had been denied a fair start. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Miss Butt and Stewards the Adjudicative Committee declared HE'S TOUGH a non-runner. Starter R Donnelly was spoken to regarding the procedure when using the hand held barrier.
Race 7   COBBITTY EQUINE FARM LEONARD MEMORIAL (MOBILE PACE)
WINELIGHT - paced roughly approaching the first bend losing ground.
LONGVIEW TUI - forced to race wide near the 800m. Weakened from the 500m.
Race 8   MORGAN SHEARING HANDICAP TROT
PARIS PRINCE - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
CODY BANNER - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Authorisation of 3rd placing being awarded to THE BLOSS was withheld after driver M Williamson (CODY BANNER) placed 4th, wished to view the replays of the run home and after doing so did not wish to proceed with a protest.
Race 9   CHEVIOT BUSINESSES CHEVIOT CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
KIKORANGI BLUE - broke at the start losing ground.
AUDACITY - shifted inwards abruptly and broke at the start hampering trailing runners losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
HEZA SPORT - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up rounding the final bend and early in the run home.
HEY BARTENDER - broke at the start losing ground.
MO'UNGA - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Driver R Close advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
TACT MCLEOD - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
JIMMY JAMES MAGUIRE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Raced wide from the 1000m.
Race 10   CHEVIOT CONCRETE & AMURI READYMIX MOBILE PACE
BUDDY REIGN - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m. Locked wheels briefly with PEARL'S A SINGER near the 450m when being steadied which resulted in the horse laying outwards. Driver K Cameron was warned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 300m when placing an inside runner in restricted room.
BALTIMORE JILL - weakened from the 500m hampering trailing runners. Placed in restricted room near the 300m and struck a track marker when an outside runner shifted inwards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be showing signs of being in season.
ELEPHANTINTHEROOM - raced wide throughout. Weakened from the 500m.
BEEPS - raced wide throughout.
FRANCO TIM - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
ANYTIME AT ALL - raced wide throughout.
KINK - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
FORD RULE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m. Gave ground final bend.
PEARL'S A SINGER - locked wheels briefly with BUDDY REIGN near the 450m. Held up over the concluding stages.
Race 11   MT BEAUTIFUL WINES TROT
PRINCE TEKA - struck a track marker near the 1500m when leading. Driver I Cameron was issued a warning.
MM SUNSHINE - lay inwards rounding the final bend and struck a track marker. Shifted ground inwards near the 150m resulting in MOSES striking a track marker. Driver R Holmes was warned to maintain a straight course in the run home once he has established his run.
NATIVES INFERNO - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened from the 500m.
WHISPERING OVER - broke at the start losing all chance.
THE ROYAL GAMBLE - lay inwards near the 1500m placing an inside runner in restricted room which struck a track marker.
BELLEROPHONTE - broke approaching the first bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
MOSES - placed in restricted room near the 1500m and again near the 150m striking a track marker.
AARDIE'S PEAK - broke near the 350m losing its chance.
Race 12   CHEVIOT LICENCING TRUST MOBILE PACE
WHITE STAR ORLANDO - raced wide early.
BLACK PEARL - raced wide early. Hampered near the 300m when runners to the inside shifted ground.
OFF THE EDGE - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MY FRIEND LOUIE - out of position at the candy pole and start. Driver K Butt was issued a warning. Over-raced middle stages.
KAIRAKI CONFIDENTIAL - gave ground rounding the final bend and then lay outwards hampering an outside runner near the 300m after being shifted wider on the track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have a high heart and respiratory rate with a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SWEET DREAMS - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the efforts of driver R Close. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Lay inwards rounding the final bend and then was awkwardly placed close to the sulky of KAIRAKI CONFIDENTIAL which had lay outwards when being shifted wider when weakening near the 300m. Stewards questioned drivers R Close (SWEET DREAMS), J Cox (OFF THE EDGE) and J Dunn (KAIRAKI CONFIDENTIAL) regarding this with Mr Close advising his horse had been slow to react when being shifted wider due to laying inwards on the boring pole. After hearing from all drivers and viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that no one horse or driver was at fault and no further action was required.
STEPHS BOY - raced wide from the 1200m.
PERAKI REACTOR - out of position at the candy pole and start. Driver B Butt was issued a warning.
