Race 1   BROSNAN TRANSPORT LTD PASSING LANE MOBILE TROT
LOTUS FRANCO - lay inwards and trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out by driver C Thornley.
KAMILLA - held up throughout the run home when unable to secure clear racing room.
DASHER - trainer M Howard was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race without the notified pacifier.
PENELOPE HALL - over-raced middle stages.
PRINCESS PENNY - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Trotted roughly under pressure rounding the final bend losing ground.
Race 2   PLACEMAKERS TIMARU MOBILE PACE
KID GLOVES - over-raced middle stages. Lay in rounding the bends and in particular rounding the final bend when racing over track markers near the 300m. Driver G Shand was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
FLYING FOR ME - broke after 100m checking trailing runners losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
LILY'S A STAR - contacted a track marker entering the first bend when taking evasive action to avoid a breaking runner.
PACIFIC THUNDER - checked by a breaking runner entering the first bend having to take evasive action.
TEETAN - checked by a breaking runner entering the first bend having to take evasive action.
Race 3   EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES TROT
ROBO TROUBLE - driver R May encountered difficulty activating the removable deafeners near the 200m.
MAKE MY DAY - slow to begin. Trotted roughly and broke near the 750m losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
LOOKALIKE LOBELL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
WUDABUBBIT - broke shortly after the start but soon settled. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke rounding the final bend losing ground and then again passing the 200m losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
MUSCLE SASS - slow to begin.
Race 4   MAINFERT PACE
CHAMPAGNE NEN - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner and lost ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced wide with cover from the 900m. Trainer L Hanrahan advised he would be considering restricting the mare to mobile starts in the immediate future.
KELTIC TIGER - broke near the 100m losing its chance.
CORZIN HAVICK - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Weakened final bend.
FAREWELL SPIT - raced wide without cover from the 900m.
ARI ON SAFARI - raced wide with cover from the 900m before electing to shift ground inwards leaving the final bend when a run became available.
Race 5   LASER ELECTRICAL TIMARU PACE
Trainer T Bagrie was issued a warning for not having the correct colours available for his stable runners PLAYING WITH STARS and HI HOPES.
EDDIE JAMES - broke at the start losing ground.
PLAYING WITH STARS - unsuccessfully challenged for the lead for a distance passing the 2000m. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the mare was unsuited to sitting parked after being unable to secure the lead.
FAST ACE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer R Cameron.
LOUIE VISTA - weakened in the run home.
SINAI SERMON - held up final bend.
ARLO MAGUIRE - tangled away.
Race 6   JIM WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL TROT
QUIK BARBIE - weakened rounding the final bend and lay outwards under pressure.
SPECIAL EFFECTS - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer C Buchan advised the gelding has derived benefit from racing as a pacer in recent starts and had trotted more fluently today.
ONE EL - slow through the early and middle stages. Lay outwards at various stages throughout.
Race 7   NIGHT 'N DAY PARK TIMARU MOBILE PACE
FERNZ GOLDY - broke early in the score up and paced roughly late however was in position at the start.
BETTERTHANDIVA - over-raced in the score up and early stages when being restrained. Weakened final bend. Driver L Dobbs will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner in which he used his whip rounding the final bend and in the run home.
APATCHOFGOLD - over-raced in the score up and early stages.
MOUTON CADET - over-raced early. Paced roughly for several strides when attempting to jump near the 1400m.
THE JAFA EXPRESS - weakened final bend.
KNOCKSHANBALLY - gave ground over the concluding stages.
