Race 1   ALABAR SOUTHERN SUPREMACY STAKES MOBILE PACE
ASTA - the required Veterinary Clearance was received. Lay inwards near the 250m and contacted the sulky wheel of HEZASWEETIE despite the efforts of driver R Close.
HEZASWEETIE - lay inwards final bend.
MIRACULOUS - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver N Williamson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 2   MLT MOBILE PACE
CAST A SHADOW - weakened final bend.
FRANCO CORNEL - broke late in the score up checking second line runners resulting in a false start being declared. Driver C Ferguson elected to start from the Unruly position for the restart where FRANCO CORNEL will remain for future mobile starts. Broke near the 850m losing all chance. Stood down to complete one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
EMERALD ABBEY - held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - lay inwards near the 1250m dislodging a track marker. Held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner.
LORTON VALE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Tomlinson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LIVY DESMA - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised that in his opinion the mare had failed to handle the prevailing Easy track conditions.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - raced wide from the 900m.
ARLO MAGUIRE - held up early stages of the run home.
RAKNRUIN - weakened rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners. Driver B Barclay reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
Race 3   THANKS MICHELE HORTON MOBILE PACE
NANA'S LITTLE TERROR - weakened final bend.
ANGUS FINN - trainer S Kelly was warned for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Driver S Kelly was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
DRAGON POWER - over-raced middle stages.
LAKELSA - raced wide from the 900m.
ON THE BEACH - held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home. Lay out over the concluding stages.
Following this race the track conditions were downgraded to Slushy.
Race 4   WATTLEBANK STANDARDBREDS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
GEMS DELIGHT - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner near the 250m.
LOURETTA - trainer R Todd was warned for presenting the mare without the notified blinds. Raced wide early.
FABRICATE - held up rounding the final bend.
LEDGER'S MAID - broke in the score up and was slightly back from its Unruly position at dispatch. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 250m.
Race 5   NEVILLE CRONIN MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
RUBY SEDDON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Trotted roughly in the run home. Driver S O'Reilly reported she did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
XERION - broke passing the 150m.
SON OF THE CLEANER - trainer T Stratford was warned for failing to affix mudguards. Raced wide early. Broke passing the 400m hampering trailing runners. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
JORDAN ANNE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
OUR SUPERFUND - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance.
JACCKA BAYLIS - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JOHNS BOY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
HUCKLEBERRY - broke near the 1900m losing all chance.
Race 6   VETSOUTH EQUINE SOUTHERN BELLE SPEED SERIES MOBILE PACE
ADVANCE PARTY - broke in the score up however was in position at the start.
PLAY PHILLY - paced roughly near the 800m having to be steadied.
Race 7   MACCA LODGE NZ KINDERGARTEN STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
RAKAMICK - lay outwards entering the first bend.
UKRAINE - paced roughly for a distance shortly after the start.
HERE'S JOHNY - lay inwards racing into the first bend having to be steadied when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of RAKAMICK which had lay outwards marginally, resulting in outside runners being hampered.
ALWAYS DREAMING - hampered racing into the first bend.
COBA CHARGED - placed in restricted room momentarily shortly after the start. Hampered racing into the first bend.
FRANCO EZRA - lay inwards shortly after the start despite the efforts of driver T Williams, placing an inside runner in restricted room momentarily, having to be steadied. Hampered racing into the first bend. Raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
RUBIRA - hampered racing into the first bend. Raced wide with cover early until reaching the parked position near the 800m.
Race 8   CAMERON CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
DURRANT - held up early stages of the run home.
WESTAR MOLLY - placed in restricted room near the 250m.
BOBBIES ROCK - trainer K Green was warned for failing to affix mudguards. Driver K Green was warned for the manner she shifted ground near the 250m placing outside runners in restricted room.
CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - raced wide early. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson expressed disappointment and could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
FLYING BIRD - driver M Williamson was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BROOKIES PLAYER - raced wide rounding the final bend.
OUTBACK MAN - held up early stages of the run home.
SPORTY CHARLIE - placed in restricted room near the 250m.
MR PRESIDENT - held up early stages of the run home.
ULTIMATE CHALLENGE - lay inwards and raced inside a track marker near the 300m.
Race 9   HUNTER FAMILY HANDICAP PACE
BRYCE'S MEDDLE - over-raced middle stages.
CHARLIE BROWN - raced greenly when progressing to the lead near the 1600m.
HACKSAW RIDGE - fractious prior to the start and broke as the tapes were released losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced greenly in the middle stages placing driver M Williamson in difficulty. Weakened from the 700m. Mr Williamson reported the gelding had locked on one rein. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing record of HACKSAW RIDGE.
SOUTH SEAS ROCK - over-raced middle stages.
TACT MCLEOD - broke at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
Race 10   THANK YOU PIONEER LADIES HANDICAP TROT
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
IMPERIAL MAN - switched to a pace shortly after the start having to be broken up by driver R McIlwrick to return to its correct gait, losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 11   FAREWELL BATHAN MUIR MOBILE PACE
The start of this event was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to DANGEROUS requiring farrier attention.
MONTAGE - held up rounding final bend.
CLAASEE - held up leaving final bend.
WARD LAMON - out of position at the start. Driver K Larsen was issued with a warning for failing to maintain his barrier position.
ROBYNS HUSTLER - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1550m.
BONNIE'S GIRL - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1400m. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver N Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to have a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
JENNY GUMP - held up final bend.
DANGEROUS - hampered by a weakening rounding the final bend. Shifted outwards into a marginal run and raced in restricted room to the inside of CLAASEE near the 250m having to be steadied. Driver C Faithful was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in the future.
HERB - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
