Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
BELMONT REVOLUTION - awkwardly placed close to the sulky of SALUTE when that runner lay inwards in the early stages.
SALUTE - over-raced and lay inwards in the early stages having to be corrected by driver R May. Mr May reported the gelding had lay in at various stages and had been striking the sulky wheel discs throughout.
HANOI FRANCO - lay inwards striking a track marker leaving the final bend.
KAIRAKI DELIGHT - raced greenly rounding the final bend losing ground.
Race 2   RICOH NEW ZEALAND TROT
THE ROYAL GAMBLE - trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
GEORGE ELIOT - raced three wide without cover from the 800m.
LOOKSLIKEATRIXTER - slow to begin.
KRACKALING - briefly locked wheels with CLYDE shortly after the start.
CLYDE - lay inwards abruptly when an outside runner shifted in shortly after the start and briefly locked wheels with KRACKALING.
WHO'S QUEEN - broke briefly shortly after the start. Broke again near the 1350m hampering a trailing runner. Broke briefly near the 1200m before being hampered by a breaking runner near the 1150m.
DOWNTOWN ORLANDO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1350m. Broke near the 1200m and continued in a break hampering a trailing runner near the 1150m losing all chance.
MUSCLE SASS - slow away and settled at the rear several lengths of the field due to the fast early sectionals. Regained contact with the field approaching the 1600m.
Race 3   WOODLANDS STUD THANKS BREEDERS FILLIES & MARES MOB PACE
A false start was declared when SWEET TARTAN broke in the score up and shifted outwards checking an outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver G O'Reilly elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
RAKERO LIGHTNING - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover.
GIVE ME PEACE - over-raced and broke briefly after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of KAIRAKI CONFIDENTIAL near the 1350m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
MILLWOOD GODDESS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1350m.
SHANNON B - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1350m. Held up final bend.
SHAPELY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1350m.
PARTNERS IN WINE - broke near the 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver T Williams advised the mare had been striking its sulky wheel discs during the running.
Race 4   RICOH NEW ZEALND MOBILE PACE
OFF THE EDGE - lay in striking a track marker rounding the final bend.
CLASSIE LINC - over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 600m. Returned to the stabling area with blood present in the nostrils. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed that the mare had bled. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 5   GARRARDS MOBILE PACE
STAR MAGIC - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay in and raced inside a track marker near the 1300m. Broke again near the 200m losing its chance. When questioned regarding the performance driver G Smith advised the horse had become unsettled after breaking at the start and paced roughly on several occasions. Mr Smith was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ARDEN'S PURSUIT - placed in restricted room rounding the final bend.
BETTOR LOVER - raced three wide without cover from the 800m.
KIRKMAN - over-raced early.
CARRERA KAHU - out of position at the start. Driver S Tomlinson was issued a warning.
JACCKA OPA - held up throughout the run home.
Race 6   LIVAMOL HANDICAP TROT
EL CONQUEROR - lay in leaving the final bend striking track markers.
ANDY HALL - trotted roughly and broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JIMMY CARTER - lay in leaving the final bend striking track markers.
MAJESTIC MAN - lay in and raced inside a track marker near the 2100m. Again lay in near the 1500m and the 900m striking several track markers.
Race 7   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
WHO'S DELIGHT - lay in throughout the run home.
HEISENBERG - briefly raced wider on the track near the 1700m when WHEELS OF FORTUNE shifted outwards. Due to driver S McNally having left the course Stewards adjourned an enquiry into this matter.
MIGHTY LOOEE - shifted out leaving the final bend before being corrected by driver J Dunn.
Race 8   HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY DEB SMITH HANDICAP TROT
MIXED FAITH - hung inwards rounding the first bend striking a track marker. Held up final bend. Trotted roughly and broke just prior to the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) against 2nd placing being awarded alleging the gelding was lapped on by AROHA KENNY, THE BLOSS and MISSALYSSA at the finish. After viewing the replays driver B Williamson did not contest the protest and MIXED FAITH was relegated to 5th placing by the Stewards.
MARTHA STUART - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MISSALYSSA - lay in and struck track markers near the 1500m.
THE BLOSS - hampered by an outside runner that shifted inwards at the start.
WINNING BONES - hampered by an outside runner that shifted inwards at the start. Raced wide early. Lay in and raced inside a track marker near the 1500m. Weakened final bend.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - shifted inwards abruptly at the start hampering inside runners. Raced three wide without cover from the 1000m.
OUR PINOCCHIO - weakened final bend.
GRETTYMAC - lay in and struck a track marker which was dislodged near the 1500m.
IDLE STUARTIA - weakened final bend.
Race 9   ELI, JACKO & PADDY AT THE RACES MOBILE PACE
TIDE AND TIME - driver R Close was warned for crossing his reins late in the run home and performing a celebratory gesture.
MAJOR HIPSTER - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened over the concluding stages.
GOTTA ELECT BILL - the blinds were removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably.
DANCE WITH THE BOSS - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
STEPHS BOY - over-raced early and middle stages.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS (MARES) MOBILE PACE
PRINCESS MERITATEN - lay inwards and struck a tracker marker rounding the final bend.
