Race 1   MURRAY & LARRY HAMILTON/ MORRISONS SADDLERY TROT
SIGNAL HILL - stood on the mark after the barriers were released hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BODACIOUS - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend. Broke near the 250m losing all chance.
CALL ME THE BREEZE - broke after 150m losing ground hampering trailing runners. Broke again near the 1300m losing all chance. Broke on a further occasion near the 400m when trailing the field.
MONARO MEG - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
THE GARDENER'S PRIDE - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
BOUNCE N BEYOND - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
WHISPERING MAJESTIC - broke rounding final bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

JUDY J - hampered at the start when SIGNAL HILL stood on the mark after the start was effected. Broke near the 1200m and was retired from the event. Driver S Tomlinson requested a ruling to whether she was denied a fair start under Rule 213(1)(j). After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from all parties the Adjudicative Committee declared JUDY J to be a runner.
LIVING THE MOMENT - broke briefly racing into the first bend losing ground.
IMPERIAL COMMAND - raced three wide without cover from the 900m.
Race 2   MEGAN SWAIN RACING MOBILE PACE
SISTER LOVE - lay outwards and paced roughly shortly after the start.
MIDSUMMER DREAMING - weakened leaving the final bend.
WISHFUL THINKING - paced roughly after a slight easing of the pace near the 900m.
Race 3   ALPINE VILLAGE INN/CRATE & BARREL/MARK TWEEDY PACE
SPEED WRITER - held up middle and latter stages of the run home.
HUGHES TWO ME - paced roughly shortly after the start.
SHADOW CREEK - fractious prior to the start then swung sideways and was positioned behind SWEETAZZ. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. After reviewing the start with starter R Donnelly and driver B Wilmott, Stewards declared SHADOW CREEK a non runner under Rule 213(1)(j) due to being denied a fair start. Paced roughly in the concluding stages.
Race 4   AARON SWAIN RACING / LBC BUILDING MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed two minutes at the request of the TAB due to the enquiry in the previous race.
THE HIGHLANDER - driver A Lethaby was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
STRIKE ME HANDSOME - driver G Hunt admitted a breach of 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hunt's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 27 March 2024 (4 days).
HARRY BELAFONTE - broke shortly after the start hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BETTOR REACTION - raced wide early.
RAPID RESPONSE - when questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel reported that the gelding was not suited to the tempo of the race.
GET IT ON - held up early stages of the run home. Driver S Tomlinson advised she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 400m.
BALTIMORE JILL - contacted the sulky tyre of GET IT ON near 400m. Stewards spoke to driver R Close in relation to this incident where it was established that both runners had shifted out simultaneously and were satisfied that no one driver was at fault.
NED KELLY - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
ELEPHANTINTHEROOM - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Race 5   PAUL RENWICK JOINERY (COLTS & GELDINGS) TROT
CAPPAHA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room late in the run home.
HIGH NOON - tangled away.
BROTHER LOVE - broke briefly at the start.
WHISPERING OVER - Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1450m when GAZZA BEATT raced wider on the track however after viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that driver B Orange had started his movement prior to GAZZA BEATT reaching his wheel.
GAZZA BEATT - broke briefly near the 500m then broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
READY SET JET - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
Race 6   GRAHAM CONSULTING (MARES) MOBILE PACE
DIVINE ANGEL - raced wide early
HAYLEY'S MEDDLE - had to be steadied when awkwardly placed between runners near the 1100m after APATCHOFGOLD shifted ground outwards prior to HAYLEY'S MEDDLE reaching its wheel.
BLACK PEARL - when spoken to regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised that the mare had to work hard in the middle stages to reach the parked position, however notwithstanding this was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 7   LAKE KANIERE SPORTS CLUB (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt due to FLYAWAY breaking in the score up hampering JUDINE and FRANCO HUMBIE. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
FLYAWAY - held up leaving the final bend.
JUDINE - raced wide early.
BETTOR LOVER - raced wide early.
DARE DEVIL - held up leaving the final bend.
OCEAN BREEZE - raced three wide without cover from the 1400m.
HEY TONIGHT - held up leaving the final bend.
EDDIE JAMES - held up leaving the final bend.
Race 8   BPC CARS LTD MOTUKARARA STAYERS CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
HE'S TOUGH - lay inwards rounding the final bend and struck several track markers.
CHRIS KYLE - broke briefly at the start.
BUCKSKIN - when questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised that she was disappointed and could offer no explanation.
Race 9   WAIHORA RFC MOBILE PACE
TIMBIMBOO - over-raced middle stages. Held up until late in the run home.
BONDI LUSTRE - held up throughout the run home.
PHILADELPHIA FILLY - raced wide early. Held up throughout the run home with driver A Cameron not activating the sliding blinds as a result.
FRANCO TIM - held up throughout the run home with driver C Thornley not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
ROCKNROLL DIVA - trainer T Yesberg advised that the mare will be racing with no front shoes.
Race 10   ENTERPRISE RECRUITMENT PACE
GATECRASHER - shied at the start hampering a trailing runner. Held up during the middle stages of the run home.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - driver J Morrison was warned for using his whip with his foot removed from the sulky footrest early stages.
LADY BOUTIQUE - the clip on the offside number became detached during the running.
SCARLETT'S LEGACY - tangled away.
JOSE QUIVERA - driver R Cameron was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
HE'S A BAY - held up early in the run home.
COUNTRY GOLD - hampered at the start.
SAMVASA - broke at the start losing ground.

PAIGE - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.

BLUE ROCK DANCER - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Hope advised that he was very disappointed and the gelding will be examined by the stable veterinarian in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results.
PERAKI SEELSTER - raced wide early.
INDIANA ARDEN - lay outwards near the 100m hampering an outside runner and again near the 50m despite the efforts of driver B Orange.
ACENTO - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
LILAC LUXURY - cleared from the unruly for future mobiles.
