Race 1   STU BAILEY MEMORIAL TROT
REAL MOONSHINE - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered final bend by a weakening runner. Broke leaving the final bend when being shifted wider on the track losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
PRACTICAL MAGIC - broke near the 2100m when racing over the crossing losing ground.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - weakened from the 800m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised that in his opinion the gelding had been unsuited to racing parked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery.
MONARO MEG - broke at the start losing ground.
WEE WESTY - broke after 100m losing ground.
FORGIVENESS - raced wide early. Broke passing the 300m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
SOLEMN SON - trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
EASY MCCARTNEY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
MOA MOJITO - raced wide early.
TOP OF THE HILL - broke passing the 300m losing ground.

SPECTATOR - trainer J Morrison was warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing with removable deafeners. Fractious prior to the start.
BROMAC TIMES - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Over-raced early stages.
MIKRA WAVE - tangled away.
GIVE ME PEACE - jumped a dislodged track marker near the 1700m and broke briefly losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised that notwithstanding the filly had been hampered by a dislodged track marker in the early stages he was still disappointed with the effort.
CORZIN HAVICK - weakened final bend.
FLOSSY REIGN - lay inwards and dislodged a track marker near the 1700m.
Race 3   BUYANDSELLWITHMARCHELLE ONE AGENCY REAL ESTATE TROT
TARUKENGA - weakened from the 600m.
MAKE MY DAY - broke at the start losing ground.
MENTALIST - broke near the 40m and continued on in a break across the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(5) alleging the gelding was lapped on at the finish by MAJESTIC WHISPER. After viewing the replays driver A Tomlinson did not contest the protest and MENTALIST was relegated to 4th placing by Stewards.
Race 4   CRITERION HOTEL MOBILE PACE
AMALFI - lay in near the 1050m striking several track markers.
ALTA SHOWGIRL - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver K Newman advised he was disappointed with the effort however the mare may not have been suited to racing parked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MOUTON CADET - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
IGETAKICKOUTOFYOU - held up final bend.
SAMVASA - weakened final bend.
ITZ ALL FIRED UP - raced ungenerously for a distance passing the 2000m.
Race 5   JOHN HIGGINS MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when DESTINY DANCE broke in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver S Ottley elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart. Broke again early in the score up of the restart and was out of position at dispatch. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
STANLEY'S RULE - crowded leaving the final bend striking several track markers.
RITA - hung inwards under pressure leaving the final bend crowding an inside runner. Stewards questioned driver A Cameron regarding her decision to shift away from the trailing position near the 300m instead of waiting to utilise the passing lane. Miss Cameron advised she had observed that the lead horse was under pressure and felt she would become held up behind this runner. Miss Cameron further advised that once the mare had clear running it had peaked on its run and in her opinion was not suited by the distance of today's race.
KAWATIRI CREEK - broke after 150m losing ground.
DIVINE ANGEL - held up final bend and early in the run home.
JACCKA OPA - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised he was very disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate with the gelding to be monitored for symptoms of colic. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 6   CHEERS TO 50 YEARS KEVIN STECHMAN MOBILE PACE
LETS GET TROPICAL - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend.
APATCHOFGOLD - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend. Over-raced final bend. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
BUDDY REIGN - lay inwards racing into the first bend crowding inside runners.
EXECUTIVE BANNER - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
BALTIMORE JILL - over-raced early when being restrained to the rear of the field. Weakened final bend.
MELANDO CHIEF - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
EDGE SHEERAN - weakened leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners.
NED KELLY - broke near the 1700m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 7   TRT BUILDERS HANDICAP TROT
MARTHA STUART - began awkwardly. Weakened leaving the final bend.
ZSA ZOE - pre-race warmed.
BOYZ INVASION - held up rounding the final bend.
IDLE STUARTIA - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Morrison advised the mare had not been suited to racing parked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate with a normal recovery.
EL CONQUEROR - gave ground leaving the final bend.
Race 8   JENNIAN HOMES TEAM TEAL DRIVERS' CHALLENGE PACE
A false start was declared when FOURTH AMENDMENT charged through the barrier strand despite the efforts of driver S Whatuira. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BLUE ROCK DANCER - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver A Tomlinson was issued a warning to take her breaking runner clear of the field at the first opportunity.
SAILOR BOY - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver S Ottley was issued a warning for striking a track marker leaving the final bend.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
FOURTH AMENDMENT - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
RAZORS EDGE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
MICHAEL EYRE - co-trainers J & I Thomas were warned for presenting the gelding to race with an incorrect number. Broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
DON JUAN - junior driver M Holbrough (assisted by M Purvis) was shown the replay and warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ROTTEN RODDEN - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
Race 9   BULLER CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS KAWATIRI CUP (HCP PACE)
The start was delayed due to JUST ASK PADDY rearing and breasting the barrier strand. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

DASHING MAJOR - broke at the start losing ground.
Race 10   NBS TEAM TEAL DRIVERS' CHALLENGE TROT
There was a delay to the start when the field was turned away after the Starter was not satisfied with the manner in which some runners were approaching the barrier.
EYRE I WILL - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke again near the 1500m losing ground.
CRUISE LINER - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
GAZZA BEATT - broke near the 100m losing its chance.
NGAURUHOE - junior driver M Holbrough was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding starting from the outside of the second line when drawn unruly.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - junior driver A Cameron was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding starting from the outside of the second line when drawn unruly. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 11   NEW WORLD MOBILE PACE
There was a three minute delay to the start at the request of the TAB.
There was a further delay when LOUIE VISTA had the incorrect number which was removed prior to the start with the gelding racing without a number to avoid an unreasonable delay.
EBURY STREET - driver H Sail advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
ITZ MAGICAL MEG - raced wide early.
BONDI LUSTRE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
MARY LOU - raced wide early and middle stages.
BEEPS - refused to leave the pre-race circle losing all chance. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SMART I AM - driver J Morrison advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SARASOTA SUNSET - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
LOUIE VISTA - trainer M Jones was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect number.
