Race 1   MONICA TORETTO PHOTOGRAPHY MOBILE PACE
FRANCO EZRA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
WILD EAST - paced roughly leaving the final bend and again over the concluding stages.
DRUMMERSHAVTIME - raced greenly when leading through the early and middle stages.
Race 2   CARPET PLUS WILLYS FLOORING TROT
WATTLE HILL - fractious prior to the start. Lay in final bend.
HUCKLEBERRY - broke passing the 600m. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
OLIVE OYL - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start and galloped uncontrollably for a distance before being returned to its correct gait. Again broke near the 1600m and galloped uncontrollably for a distance before being retired from the race by driver B Orange. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer J Douglas.
MADISON'S MOON - lay in rounding the final bend contacting several track markers and broke shortly after, losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Driver N Williamson reported he had difficulty steering the filly on the final bend.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
ACTION PACKED - slow away.
Race 3   SBSR / HARNESSLINK FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
BONNIE'S GIRL - lay out throughout the run home having to be corrected by driver N Williamson. Mr Williamson was warned for the manner he shifted ground near the 220m when placing BETTER BE WATCHING in restricted room.
BETTER BE WATCHING - broke briefly rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner with the off-side rear hopple carrier strap breaking whilst in a gallop. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Placed in restricted room near the 220m. Following the race the hopple carrier strap was inspected and found to be in previous good condition.
NOTONYOURNALLY - paced roughly at various stages throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have grade 3 lameness in the left fore leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
MIKI'S BEAUTY - hampered by a breaking runner final bend.
GEMS DELIGHT - lay in rounding the final bend before breaking briefly, losing all chance.
NORTHVIEW SWEET - held up rounding the final bend.
GIVE ME JOY - out of position at the start despite the urgings of driver T Nally. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Held up through the middle stages of the run home.
Race 4   CRAIG HEYRICK AT HARCOURTS 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
RAKAVENOM - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the urgings of driver M Hurrell. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
JUSTANOTHERSIP - out of position at the start despite the urgings of driver P Hunter. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
DUCHESS OF KENT - out of position at the start despite the urgings of driver B Barclay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Held up rounding final bend.
Race 5   McKNIGHT & BROWN MOBILE PACE
WARD LAMON - trainer K Larsen was warned for presenting the colt with sliding blinds which were not notified.
CALIFORNIA DREAMING - lay out at stages throughout.
Race 6   LEVEL ONE RESTAURANT & BAR HANDICAP TROT
SWITCH ON - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MC SQUARED - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
AFTERBURNER - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
SON OF THE CLEANER - broke passing the 900m.
RUBY SEDDON - lay in rounding the final bend striking track markers.
KYLE LOCH - broke shortly after the start. Broke again passing the 1200m losing all chance.
IMPERIAL MAN - lay in rounding the final bend striking track markers.
JOHNS BOY - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
Race 7   DIAMONDS DAY SUNDAY 21ST APRIL MOBILE PACE
ASK ME LOU - connections reported the mare would be racing in season. Held up final bend.
TAD LINCOLN - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - raced wide early. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
SLY TRICKS - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
PARADISE VALLEY - over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover in the early stages. Driver S O'Reilly reported that only one sliding blind had activated despite her efforts.
Race 8   SOUTHERN S'BRED BREEDERS SOUTHERN BELLE MARES MOBILE PACE
BEACH DAY - lay in final bend contacting a track marker. Held up in the latter stages of the run home.
BIZZIE LOU - lay in near the 1500m contacting track markers.
TAYLA ME - connections reported the mare has had its hocks treated since last racing. Trainer B McIntyre was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare without the notified blinds.
Race 9   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
AMERICAN MAC - connections reported the gelding has had its joints treated since last racing. Paced roughly for a few strides shortly after the start. Weakened final bend.
MR PRESIDENT - fractious prior to the start. Raced wide early.
MR CASH MAN - driver N Williamson reported the sulky seat had shifted entering the final straight and became detached placing him at a disadvantage, and he was unable to drive the gelding out as a consequence.
HE'S A MEISTER - lay in throughout the run home having to corrected by driver K Green.
HAZER - over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover in the early stages. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Weakened final bend.
Race 10   SOUTHLAND HARNESS AWARDS 2ND MARCH MOBILE PACE
NYLA - refused to score up with the field and took no part in the event. Authorisation of placings was withheld until the Stewards had reviewed the footage of the start, after which the mare was declared a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(e), due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of NYLA.
DUKE OF SCOTLAND - sustained a punctured sulky tyre passing the 1200m and was retired from the race by driver B Barclay. Mr Barclay reported that the sulky wheel had been struck by the trailing JENNY GUMP, which had been over-racing for some distance.
JENNY GUMP - over-raced through the early and middle stages and was unable to be restrained, causing driver K Tomlinson some difficulty and struck the sulky wheel of DUKE OF SCOTLAND near the 1200m resulting in the tyre puncturing. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SUPERFAST - locked sulky stays with JOANIE MAGIC for a distance racing into the first bend.
NEK DELIGHT - raced wide early.
GUNNER ANDY - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up leaving the final bend.
JOANIE MAGIC - trainer R Austin was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare without the notified blinds. Locked sulky stays with SUPERFAST for a distance racing into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages. Mr Austin will be spoken to in the coming days for the manner he shifted ground near the 1400m.
