BREAK FREE - trotted roughly at the start and over the early stages losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobiles at the Trainer's request. | |
RUBY RIDGE - became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of WINNERS TIME near 1050m after there was an easing of the pace and then contacted that runner's sulky wheel which punctured the tyre. Given the circumstances Stewards took no action against Driver Z Meredith other than to remind him of his obligations. | |
ALANA - pulled hard during the score up for the restart. | |
SONSOFTHEMERCH - back from the unruly position at the restart and lost further ground over the early stages before trailing the field throughout. Junior Driver N Balle, assisted by Z Butcher, was questioned in relation to both score ups and warned to make a greater effort to have her runner in position given similar circumstances in the future. |
