Driver K Green (FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD) defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging she drove carelessly near the 150m when striking the sulky wheel of IDEAL DOUBLE which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Miss Green's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 11 February up to and including 22 February 2024 (3 days). |

MIRACULOUS - lay in middle stages of the run home. When questioned regarding the performance of favoured runner, trainer/driver N Williamson was disappointed and unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Mr Williamson requested blood tests be taken from the gelding and Stewards will follow up the results in the coming days. |

Stewards questioned junior drivers T Nally (EMERALD ABBEY) assisted by B Williamson, and C Dalgety (MAGIC SIGN) who declined assistance from a Senior driver, regarding an incident near the 250m. After hearing from both drivers and viewing the films Stewards laid an Information against Mr Nally alleging that he drove carelessly in this incident. The Adjudicative Committee adjourned the matter sine die until the Gore Harness Racing Club's meeting on 18 February 2024. | |
