Race 1   HIRE A VENUE @ CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
BEACH PARTY - approval was given for this runner to race in alternative colours. Pulled hard early stages when being eased.
NEYMAR - broke near the 750m hampering a trailing runner losing ground before settling. Broke again rounding the final turn. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial.
LUKAKU - back from position at dispatch. Driver L Darby was issued a warning. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 750m.
Race 2   OFF THE TRACK FOOD AND BEV HANDICAP TROT
JOCA'S HILL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the Unruly for future stands at the request of connections. Lay in and broke passing the 400m.
OWN THE MOMENT - commenced to weaken from the 500m and lay in contacting track markers. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance. Trainer/Driver M Perriton advised that the mare had cast the off hind shoe during the running.
CONRAD H - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start losing ground.
THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT - momentarily hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and was taken up the track placing an outside runner in restricted room for several strides.
PATRICK MAHOMES - broke shortly after the start after having been placed in restricted room and lost all chance.
ROYAL ACTION - lay in at various stages.
HELSINGOR - removed from the unruly for future standing starts. Hampered by a weakening runner passing the 400m and then weakened.
Race 3   SUMMER OF RACING 7-29TH JAN @CR MOBILE PACE
WENDY'S SHADOW - slow to score up then lay in and was back from position at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Continued to lay in at various stages and in particular rounding the final turn contacting track markers when weakening.
PREDATOR - when questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Butcher stated that he was slightly disappointed with the debut effort and expected that the gelding would derive benefit from the race.
Race 4   TOTE BURGER, YOUR BEST BET FOR BURGERS HANDICAP TROT
KIMKAR DASH - held up briefly rounding the final turn.
YA KNOW - broke passing the 750m losing all chance.
MR MUSCLE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
WINNERS TIME - shifted out marginally on straightening for the run home.
JASINOVA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
RUBY RIDGE - raced wide from the 1100m.
Race 5   GAVELHOUSE.COM MOBILE PACE
SHAKE A LEG - broke briefly near the 1400m hampering a trailing runner. Lay in and contacted track markers near the 900m.
XCITE ME - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination at the request of Stewards and was cleared to start. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400m. Broke passing the 200m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
KASHKEEPER - shifted out under pressure early in the run home but was corrected by Driver J Dickie. Shifted out again marginally near the 50m coming into contact with the sulky of GOD DAM which was improving to its outside. Stewards lodged a protest against 1st placing being awarded to KASHKEEPER on the grounds of alleged interference to GOD DAM (2nd placing) in this incident. After hearing the relative evidence from all parties and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest.
BABE ON THE BEACH - broke in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the near hind which required treatment. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 6   NZB AIRFREIGHT MOBILE PACE
The start of this event was delayed several minutes due to the protest in the previous race.
IRRESISTIBLE - Driver R Fensom dropped his whip passing the 50m.
FIFTH AND FINAL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Broke near the 1850m then again near the 1650m losing ground. Weakened final turn. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial.
Race 7   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS TROT
TRIFOLIUM - broke at the start losing ground before settling.
COOL PHELAN - pre-race warmed.
MAZEPPA - had some difficulty obtaining clear running early in the run home.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - lay in under pressure in the run home.
ALANA - delayed the start when reluctant to come forward into position. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
Race 8   CLUBHOUSE SPORTS BAR MOBILE PACE
CAULFIELD - weakened in the run home.
