LIL MISS MUSCLES - trainer M Jones advised Stewards on 27 December that nothing had come to light with the mare which would explain the disappointing run and it was his intention to continue on with the current preparation.

MAKAKU - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1600m.
SONNY JIM - broke near the 1600m hampering trailing runners and losing all chance.
WUDABUBBIT - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 1900m losing ground. Broke on a further occasion passing the 150m losing its chance. Driver M Jones reported he would be recommending gear changes prior to the filly racing next.
MAJESTIC CHALLEN - broke at the start and then shifted outwards checking an outside runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer C Barron.
QUERCUS RUBRA - checked shortly after the start losing all chance.
DIGNIFY - raced wide from the 700m.
COURTNEY MAY - broke passing the 900m losing all chance.
MADISON'S MOON - trainer B Gray was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the filly without the notified pacifier.
BRIANNA - broke briefly at the start. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1600m then over-raced for a distance. Hung inwards throughout the run home.

MIKI'S BEAUTY - placed in restricted room momentarily near the 50m.
HERITAGE - held up rounding the final bend.
RURAL CASH - raced wide early stages. Weakened from the 700m. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
CHEMMY - raced greenly late in the score up and was out of position at the start, hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced greenly again negotiating the first bend losing ground.
ROSIE RICHTER - weakened on the final bend after racing in the parked position throughout.
MECHANICAL BULL - weakened from the 800m. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
CALIFORNIA DREAMING - raced wide from the 700m. Hung inwards near the 50m despite the efforts of driver C Ferguson placing an inside runner in restricted room momentarily.
LEDGER'S MAID - held up rounding the final bend.
GUNNER ANDY - hampered late in the score up. Raced wide early stages.
THE MAESTRO - trainer P Andrews was issued with a warning after presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Broke in the score up and was back from the Unruly position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened from the 900m.
Race 3   ROY HENLEY MEMORIAL FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SKY FAWKES - driver M Hurrell reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
DEVINE FORCE - out of position at the candy pole and start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Raced roughly racing into the first bend. Weakened from the 900m. A warning was also placed on the racing performance of the filly. The connections advised they will be making gear changes.
FIRST LIGHT - raced wide with cover throughout.
SPECTATOR - raced wide early.
VINITA ROSE - held up early stages of the run home.
ROBYN X - held up middle stages of the run home.
SIDOROVA - over-raced and broke passing the 1200m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
CHEER ME ON - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened final bend.
Race 4   MITRE 10 GORE MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt when TRAIL BOSS broke in the score up checking a second line runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver B Williamson elected to move to the Unruly position for the restart where the gelding will remain for future mobile engagements.
A second false start was declared when TRAIL BOSS checked trailing runners in the score up with the gelding being declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards acting under Starting Regulations Mobile Starts 22.4. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of a Stipendiary Steward prior to resuming.
MACANDREW MARKUP - trainer J Douglas was issued with a warning for being late to notify the gelding would race with blinds.
EATMYDUST - commenced to weaken from the 700m after racing in the parked position.
TRAIL BOSS - late scratching at 1.43pm by order of Stewards.
I'LL BE BACK - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised that the colt had become stirred up due to the two false starts which had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
VINCENT PRINCE - hung inwards on various occasions. Weakened final bend.
TOPOFTHECLASS - held up rounding the final bend and then had to be steadied near the 200m.
RAKADEAKS - struck the last track marker prior to the passing lane and then shifted inwards abruptly striking several track markers having to be straightened by its driver. Notwithstanding this driver R McIlwrick was spoken to for the manner in which he drove when striking the track marker prior to the horse shifting in abruptly.
BLUE STAR HIMA - weakened final bend.
POUNAMU - paced roughly in the score up and was back from the Unruly position at the start. Hung inwards early in the run home.
Race 5   KIRSTY & MICHAEL ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL GORE DAY HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt when the 20m barrier strand became entangled in the legs of JORDAN ANNE. Stewards questioned starter Mr B Ward and driver M Williamson regarding this and after hearing from both parties a warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. In assessing this matter Stewards took into account that Mr Williamson was attempting to restrain his runner prior to the tapes being released.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - began awkwardly. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
GALLEONS FUTURE - broke rounding the final bend hampering trailing runners.
MC SQUARED - over-raced through middle stages. Trotted roughly before weakening from the 1000m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
ABACARDI HAZEL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 900m. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
JORDAN ANNE - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
JOHNS BOY - held up rounding the final bend.
SHEZA GIFT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to the horse trotting roughly on occasions in the run home.
Race 6   CARDRONA DISTILLERY STAKES 3YO MOBILE PACE
ROBYNS ART - lay inwards and struck a track marker first bend.
SCOTT - broke racing into the first bend losing ground, hampering a trailing runner. Broke again rounding the final bend losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SEA FURY - the overcheck became displaced during the running.
THE ORANGE ROUGHY - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Lay inwards over the concluding stages.
Race 7   CHARLTON LODGE MOBILE PACE
SLY TRICKS - held up middle stages of the run home.
TAD LINCOLN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Lay in rounding the bend near the 1300m dislodging several track markers. Again lay inwards and struck track markers near the 900m. Weakened from the 800m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
TIMBIMBOO - paced roughly and broke rounding the first bend hampering and checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 800m losing all chance. Driver M Hill reported a hopple carrier had broken when in a break with the gear being inspected and found to be in previous good condition.
I'M WATCHING YOU - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Held up middle stages of the run home.
FORTY WIVES - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Hampered again by a weakening runner near the 800m.
GET KRAKEN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend then raced wide for a distance before reaching the parked position near the 1300m.
SOUTHERN STARR - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
PARADISE VALLEY - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and struck track markers.
ROBYNS SHADOW - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
HUNTING WEIGHT - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke in consequence losing ground. Raced wide early.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Raced wide early.
TASHS BAD GIRL - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver A Kyle was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 8   JACCKA LODGE GORE TROTTING CUP (HANDICAP TROT)
HIDDEN TALENT - required a sulky change prior to the start due to a tyre deflating in the preliminary. Broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
MAUI - slow to begin.
LOVE N THE PORT - raced wide without cover from the 600m.
Race 9   ARDEN LODGE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
WHO'S BETTOR - over-raced middle stages. Driver momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky footrest when driving the mare out with the reins in the run home.
LA MOTH - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
WESTAR MOLLY - placed in restricted room and paced roughly entering the first bend when runners to the outside shifted ground inwards.
CALDWELL - lay inwards and was then taken inwards entering the first bend by an outside runner. Driver K Green advised the mare had hung inwards throughout the run home.
MAYSON SHARD - Driver M Jones was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground entering the first bend when placing inside runners in restricted room. When questioned regarding the performance of the filly Mr Jones advised that he was disappointed with the run and could offer no tangible explanation.
SUPERFAST - held up leaving the final bend and throughout the run home. Driver B Orange reported he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
SWEET SPIRIT - paced roughly and broke entering the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver W House advised the mare had failed to handle the track.
Race 10   MATAURA LICENSING TRUST GORE PACING CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
WATTLEBANK ARNIE - broke at the start.
MACANDREW NAVIGATOR - trainer J Douglas was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the gelding with removable deafeners which were not notified.
BOUDICA - Stewards will follow up with the connections regarding the mares performance in the coming days.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - broke at the start losing ground.
BROOKIES PLAYER - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
HE'S A MEISTER - stood on the mark as the start was effected losing ground.
JIMMYRAY - lay outwards near the 500m and struck the sulky wheel of SAND WAVE losing ground.
DENY EVERYTHING - raced wide from the 1200m and was then eased down when weakening from the 500m. When questioned regarding this driver M Jones advised he had been unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled, however notwithstanding this he was disappointed with the run adding the gelding had raced lethargically throughout and may not have backed up from its previous start at Addington on 15 December. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
CAPTAIN TOM - raced wide early.
SAND WAVE - driver N Williamson was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 11   HOKONUI HONDA MOBILE PACE
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
AMERICAN MAC - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner. Lay inwards rounding the final bend when weakening, striking track markers.
HARRISON - raced wide early.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced middle stages.
GOMA DALE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Top
