Ms Wigg was shown the replay and warned for her lack of control in this incident. Broke near the 1450m checking trailing runners. Over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final turn and again near the 50m before breaking and failing to settle. Race 3   GAVELHOUSE.COM HANDICAP TROT
ROMEO FOXTROT - Driver D Butcher admitted a charge under Rule 869(4) and the Home Straight Regulations on the grounds that he allowed his runner to shift outwards early in the home straight which resulted in MATTY A being forced wider checking NOBLE COUNT, which broke passing the 100m losing its chance. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Butcher's Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 31 December up to and including 4 January 2024 (2 days).
LUBY LILL - broke at the start losing all chance.

SHEZ THE ONE - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1450m. When questioned regarding the tactics he adopted during the middle stages when electing to hold the parked position, Driver D Butcher stated that he had initially eased to look to take a trail but FREEDOM DASH had not been travelling well enough to cross so he felt he had little option other than to remain without cover outside the leader.
FREEDOM DASH - raced wide with cover early and middle stages before then being obliged to remain three wide without cover near the 1400m when unable to secure the position outside the leader. Weakened final turn.
