Race 1   GRANT MOORE SHEARING FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
STEEL LEDGER - connections advised that the filly will be racing in season.
EATMYDUST - Driver R Gutsell reported that the filly had been striking the sulky wheels and he will be recommending gear changes.
COCK A HOOP - over-raced early when being restrained to take cover.
NORTHVIEW SWEET - raced wide early.
Race 2   HARRY SMITH SHEEP SCANNING TROT
ACTION PACKED - slow in the early stages. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer S Armour.
SONNY JIM - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
JOEKING - Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
HIGHLIGHT - fractious prior to the start. Broke and reared at the start losing all chance. Stood down to complete one standing start trial to the satisfaction of a Stipendiary Steward prior to resuming.
Race 3   NICHOLS CAFE MOBILE PACE
VINCHETTO - lay out on the bends at various stages.
POUNAMU - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
COLD PURSUIT - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BREENY'S ROCK N ROLL - lay in over the concluding stages when under pressure.
Race 4   THE GOFER MOBILE PACE
MUNROE'S MATE - Driver M Hurrell reported the gelding had been striking the sulky wheels.
FULLOFFIGHT - lay out in the score up and again on the final bend.
Race 5   BRETT MIDDLETON CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced early stages.
LIVY DESMA - over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened from the 400m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M Hurrell advised that the mare had hung during the running and had also been striking a knee which had contributed to the below par effort. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed LIVY DESMA to have a high heart rate however the mare recovered well.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - raced wide early.
DURRANT - lay in over the concluding stages having to be corrected by Driver O Kite.
TAD LINCOLN - weakened final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - raced wide early.
I'M WATCHING YOU - held up middle stages of the run home.
Race 6   BRUSKI FARMS MOBILE PACE
AURORA BOREALIS - lay in when racing three wide for a distance from the 800m. Weakened final bend.
FLYING ELLIE - raced wide early.
KENSI - paced roughly early stages.
Race 7   RYAL BUSH TRANSPORT HANDICAP TROT
PETRONELLI GEE - weakened from the 700m. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. Stewards will follow up with Trainer A Milne in the coming days.
INSIST THE WIN - broke briefly shortly after the start losing all chance.
BLITHE - Driver M Williamson reported that the mare had over-raced throughout.
VELOCITY JET - reared prior to the tapes being released having to circle again and delaying the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SALLY LINDENNY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SPELLS OF LOVE - weakened in the run home. Lost the near hind plate during the running. Trainer R Heads advised she would give consideration to sending the gelding for a spell.
Race 8   PETE FAULKS & TOM PEARS CRUTCHING MOBILE PACE
CASTELO DE VIDE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver E Swain. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MAGNETIC BECKERS - raced wide early.
WITH A BANG - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
AIRWAVES - raced wide early.
AMERICAN MAC - held up leaving the final bend.
FOREVER ARDEN - broke passing the 1900m losing ground. Paced roughly on various occasions during the running. When questioned regarding the performance Driver R McIlwrick confirmed that the gelding had paced roughly throughout. Cast the near fore plate during the running. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slight abrasion to an outside heel, a slow recovery and to be showing signs of nasal discharge. Stewards will follow up with Trainer W Adams in the coming days.
Race 9   CONTAINERBASE/FINDATRUCKLOAD MOBILE PACE
ROBYNS HUSTLER - raced wide from the 500m and weakened over the concluding stages.
RAKAMURPH - raced wide early.
Race 10   BRUSKI FARMS MOBILE PACE
STILL ROCKIN - broke in the score up however was in position at the start.
LUCYS DELIGHT - raced wide early. Over-raced in the middle stages.
TAYLA ME - connections advised that the mare has been treated for dehydration since last racing. Trainer B McIntyre was issued with a warning for presenting TAYLA ME without the notified blinds. Raced wide early.
JOES ROCK - held up through the early stages of the run home.
TACT MCLEOD - held up in the run home only obtaining clear racing room near the 50m. Driver O Kite reported he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
RIGHTAZZ - held up leaving the final bend.
CAPTAIN STARLIGHT - held up for clear racing room through the middle to latter stages of the run home.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - raced three wide from the 1500m until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
Trainer B Morris advised Stewards on 15 December that SPORTY CHARLIE has been treated for a respiratory infection since last racing.
