Race 8 - RACING AGAIN THURSDAY 14TH MOBILE PACE
When questioned Driver A Pyers stated that BLAZE MAGUIRE had been racing erratically when weakening on the final turn however he was advised that he would be expected to make a greater effort to avoid contact being made with track markers in the future.

Race 1   DOUG BRADLEY PAINTING HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed due to LIGHTNING MCQUEEN and HENRIK LUNDQVIST becoming fractious.
EAGLE HANOVER - lay out racing through the straights and in particular throughout the run home despite the efforts of Driver S Abernethy.
LIGHTNING MCQUEEN - stood on the mark at the start then broke losing ground. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened from the 700m. Broke again near the 150m checking a trailing runner. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the connections.
EASY MCCARTNEY - switched into a pace entering the first turn losing all chance. Broke passing the 200m.
HENRIK LUNDQVIST - slow early and then broke briefly approaching the first turn. Hampered rounding the first turn when having to avoid EASY MCCARTNEY losing ground as a result.
KISS MY PIXEL - lay out early in the home straight and was reluctant to take the run that had become available in the passing lane.
CARLEY MAGUIRE - slow early. Lay in at various stages. Checked by a breaking runner and galloped near the 150m.
KINGSCLERE - slow early. Broke near the 2200m losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 2   ITM HANDICAP TROT
QUIK SHARNIE - trotted roughly when weakening rounding the final turn with Driver B Butcher advising he did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.
THANK YOU - broke near the 1900m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
STORMS ACOMING - broke for several strides at the start. Lost contact with the body of the field during the middle stages. A warning was placed on the mare's race performance.
SLAINTE - broke briefly near the 500m.
PRINCE ENVY - broke rounding the first turn losing ground. Lay in rounding the turns losing further ground and in particular approaching the 800m losing contact with the body of the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's race performance.
SWEET OLIVIA - broke entering the first turn losing all chance.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - slow away. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first turn and then lay in losing ground. Broke near the 1150m losing further ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke entering the first turn losing ground. Raced ungenerously thereafter and was retired from the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's race performance.
Race 3   HELEN GRAY MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
CONOR MCGREGOR - forced to race wide rounding the first turn before being restrained towards the rear.
JACQUELINE ROSE - when questioned regarding the performance Driver D Butcher advised that the filly had lay in rounding the final turn losing some momentum.
SHARKNTATTIES - Driver B Mangos was warned for striking track markers rounding the final turn.
SHIRLEY BASSEY - hampered by an inside runner leaving the back straight the final time.
CALI FRANCO - broke entering the first turn losing ground. Broke again near the 1100m hampering a trailing runner losing further ground. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
CARRERA SUNSHINE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1100m. Weakened final turn.
LOUIE V TONNE - lay out badly approaching and rounding the first turn causing Driver G Martin considerable difficulty. When questioned Mr Martin explained that he had allowed the gelding to shift away from the marker line for safety reasons near the 1800m which resulted in an outside runner being forced wider on the track. Continued to lay out at various stages and in particular leaving the back straight the final time hampering an outside runner before then weakening. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
FREDASTAIRE - broke in the score up but was in position at the start.
Race 4   PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
PENNYS FIRST FLIGHT - commenced to weaken from the 450m.
CAROLINA MOON - raced wide early stages.
DREAMS ARE BETTOR - lay in just prior to dispatch and was marginally back from position. Weakened final turn.
FREEDOM DASH - over-raced early and middle stages.
BLAZE MAGUIRE - slow to score up but was in position at the candy pole. Commenced to weaken from the 700m. A warning was placed on the gelding's race performance.
Race 5   CAFE JACKO MOBILE PACE
LETSGODANCING - over-raced middle stages after handing up the lead to ANN OFATHOUSAND BAYS. Contacted and punctured that runner's sulky wheel near the 1700m. Stewards were satisfied that Driver S Abernethy was not at fault and took the matter no further. Held up final turn and throughout the run home.
ANN OFATHOUSAND BAYS - held up final turn. Driver W House reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1700m when contacted by the over-racing LETSGODANCING.
RORY MCILROY - commenced to weaken from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's race performance.
CLEAR LEFT - Driver S Dickson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
DIDJANOTHATONE - commenced to weaken from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's race performance.
Race 6   WENHAM GRAIN & SEED MOBILE PACE
BARBAROSSA - held up early final turn.
UNCLE DREW - raced wide early.
EDDIE OSEI - slow to score up but was in position at dispatch. Paced roughly and broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
BETTOR GRUNTER - Driver G Martin was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 7   OUTBACK TRADING FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
CONSTANCE CLAIRE - lay out in the score up and was marginally back from position at dispatch. Commenced to weaken from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's race performance.
MILLIES SENSATION - over-raced middle stages.
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - briefly placed in restricted room near the 300m. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MARGHERITA - Junior Driver N Delany (assisted by B Mangos) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
