On-course Race book had the Standing Start frontline limit today incorrectly published as being 8 instead of 10. This correct information was subsequently disseminated to the public through the appropriate channels. Pre-race blood testing was carried out.

N-Z7Ru2b9Uo SHANDON BELLS - when questioned regarding the performance Driver B Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A Post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have the thumps which will be treated accordingly.
MAJESTIC WHISPER - broke briefly at the start.
LINE A LOVE - trotted roughly shortly after the start.
HEAVENLY STRINGS - lay inwards in the run home having to be straightened by Driver N Williamson.
SUPERFASTSUPERSTAR - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
STEVE - over-raced through the middle stages when leading.
JUDICATE - slow to begin. Broke passing the 1300m losing ground. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.

tJPPNK6rHvw EYRE DYNASTY - broke shortly after the start and shifted outwards hampering BINGO BANGO which was in a break. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
BINGO BANGO - broke at the start and was then hampered shortly after.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - hampered by inside runners at the start. Hampered again racing over the crossing near the 1900m.
TRAIL BOSS - fractious prior to the start. Reared and shifted inwards abruptly getting the sulky shaft over its rump prior to the tapes being released and then made firm contact with the running rail, losing all chance. Authorisation of all placings was withheld until the Stewards had reviewed footage of the start with Driver B Barclay after which TRAIL BOSS was declared a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.

MAJOR CHEDDAR - tangled away. Hampered racing over the crossing near the 1900m.

TIME IS PRECIOUS - Trainer R Heads reported the gelding has been treated for a virus since last racing. Broke passing the 1700m and again on several further occasions losing all chance.

FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - lay inwards in the run home. Notwithstanding this Driver G Thornley was issued with a warning to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home in future.

AIRWAVES - Stewards questioned Driver B Williamson as to the reasons he was late to take his drive. After hearing his explanation Stewards issued Mr Williamson with a warning. Made the crossing awkwardly near the 1900m striking a track marker.
BOBBIES ROCK - over-raced early stages.
MAMMA MIA - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages.

fimsCRiF01A WILLANGUS LAD - broke passing the 90m hampering a trailing runner and continued on in a break across the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging WILLANGUS LAD had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing the replays Driver M Hurrell did not contest the protest and WILLANGUS LAD was disqualified by the Stewards.
BLITHE - tangled away.
ABADABADO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 90m.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke briefly at the start.
JIMMY CARTER - broke passing the 100m losing its chance.
