BET N WIN - trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be driven out.
SON OF PATRICK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CREATE TIME - broke shortly after the start hampering an outside runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again passing the 200m. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the request of trainer K Barron.
GOLD BULLION - hampered by a breaking runner after 100m. Trotted roughly and broke passing the 200m.
Race 2   AVON CITY FORD ACES "ALL IN" 2YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed one minute at the request of the TAB.
A false start was declared after KENSI broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Driver N Williamson elected to move to the unruly position for the restart where the filly will remain for future mobile starts.
MADRID - over-raced through the early and middle stages.
KENSI - over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 400m.
ASK ME LAZARUS - weakened leaving the final bend.
ALWAYS TICKING - over-raced middle stages.
TREACHEROUS LOVE - trainer/driver B Mangos requested a post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination which revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the filly in the coming days.
RAKLOU - held up final bend and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
Race 3   HYDROFLOW 'HILARIOUS GUEST' 3YO FILLIES CLASSIC MOBILE PACE
AMORE INFIDA - crowded by outside runners and struck track markers near the 1700m. Over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend. Crowded leaving the final bend and struck a track marker.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - paced roughly rounding the final bend.
WICKED WANDA - crowded by an outside runner near the 1700m. Hung inwards rounding the final bend crowding an inside runner.
MANTRA BLUE - broke shortly after the start and attempted to buck losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Held up final bend. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the filly had broken in excess of 150m in the early stages. After viewing the replays trainer/driver Z Butcher did not contest the protest and MANTRA BLUE was disqualified by the Stewards. Mr Butcher advised he would be adding hopple shorteners for the filly's next start.
KAHLUA FLYBYE - shifted inwards near the 1700m and then lay inwards placing inside runners in restricted room. Driver T Herlihy was warned for the manner in which he drove. Lay outwards in the run home having to be corrected by its driver over the concluding stages.
TREACHEROUS GALL - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 4   HAPPY BIRTHDAY WAYNE ENDACOTT MOBILE PACE
OBSESSION - weakened from the 400m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DANCE TILL DAWN - driver J Dunn reported the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
ELLIE FRANCO - hung outwards on various occasions during the running.
KIKORANGI BLUE - paced roughly on various occasions during the running. The clip on the breastplate became detached during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Butt advised he was unable to work into the race through the back straight on the final occasion despite his efforts due to the strong tempo. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BOUDICA - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 5   LONE STAR SIRES' STAKES 2YO CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE TROT)
A false start was declared when DREAMS PAT broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver D Butcher elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
TYRON EROS - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Shifted outwards near the 150m placing an outside runner in restricted room which had to be restrained. Driver J Dunn admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting ground and after viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dunn's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 December up to and including 17 December 2023 (3 days).
WILMA'S BOY - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke near the 800m losing all chance.
THE MERC - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
JUDY J - connections advised the filly has been treated for a virus since last racing.
TORQUAY STREET - raced wide early. Checked near the 150m when an inside runner shifted ground outwards.
FLORENCE THE MACHINE - over-raced middle stages.
LOOK TO DA STARS - broke after being forced wider on the track near the 850m losing all chance. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 6   'WHAT THE HILL' NEW ZEALAND TROTTING OAKS (MOBILE TROT)
KENNY'S CHARM - hampered by breaking runners near the 1700m. Weakened from the 700m. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days regarding the performance.
HIGH INTENSITY - trotted roughly just prior to the start and came back onto the trailing STYX JEWEL which lost ground. Broke shortly after the start further hampering STYX JEWEL losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
MELSADELE - hung inwards through the middle stages. Driver T Mitchell will be spoken to regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home in the coming days.
JULIE JACCKA - lay inwards and struck track markers near the 900m.
SUNNYS SISTER - held up early in the run home.
STYX JEWEL - checked late in the score up. Further hampered when HIGH INTENSITY broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened final bend. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had reviewed replays of the start with driver W House with STYX JEWEL being declared a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
WALKINONSUNSHINE - broke near the 1700m when being shifted inwards by SHEZ BELLA. After taking initial evidence from drivers T Herlihy (WALKINONSUNSHINE) and D Ferguson (SHEZ BELLA) Stewards adjourned the enquiry sine die due to Mr Herlihy having to leave the course for travel commitments.
GEORGE ELIOT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Weakened final bend.
MUSCLE SASS - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke losing all chance.
THE IVY LEAGUE - broke near the 1700m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.

WHO'S QUEEN - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Weakened from the 700m.
ALDEBARAN FLOSS - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered final bend by a weakening runner.
IDLE STUARTIA - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Hampered final bend by a weakening runner.

GALWAY GIRL - switched to a pace near the 150m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver C Thornley advised that he would be recommending a gear change to fixed deafeners for future races.
TIME UP THE HILL - checked by a breaking runner near the 800m.
RESOLVE - checked by a breaking runner near the 800m.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
HE'S TOUGH - lay inwards leaving the final bend striking a track marker. Continued to lay inwards throughout the run home.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - weakened final bend.
JORDY - held up rounding the final bend.
LONE WOLF - when questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised the gelding had been unsuited to racing in the parked position through the early and middle stages.
MR CASH MAN - when questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the mid race shift to improve to the parked position near the 1100m had taken its toll however he was not overly disappointed with the performance.
DASHING MAJOR - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had shown natural improvement in recent starts after a spell and had appreciated being able to lead tonight in a drop in grade from previous starts.
