Driver C Hart (SWAYZEE) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hart's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 24 November 2023 (5 days) and in addition imposed a fine of $2500. |
Race 12 - GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE |
Driver R May (SMOKE ON THE WATER) was warned for the manner in which he drove when crowding DOUBLE TIME late in the run home. When assessing this Stewards took into account that SMOKE ON THE WATER had been laying inwards which had contributed. |
