HERE COMES JANE - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
BRIANNA - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. Backed away prior to the start being effected losing all chance. After viewing the replays of the start with trainer/driver D McCormick Stewards declared BRIANNA a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
RAINING IN MY HEART - briefly hampered near the 200m when an outside runner lay inwards.
KERRALLY - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
GEORGE ELIOT - over-raced middle stages.
BOSS JO - hung inwards throughout the run home causing driver J Morrison some difficulty briefly hampering an inside runner. Mr Morrison advised he would be recommending gear changes prior to the mare racing next.
BULLIT TRAIN - raced wide early.
SCHOEMAKER - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
ZEKE - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
BEAT THE COVID - slow early stages. Raced wide rounding the first bend. Hung inwards throughout the run home and was unable to be shifted wider on the track near the 200m despite the efforts of driver R Close. Held up late in the run home.
JOEKING - trainer B McIntyre was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding late onto the track. Raced wide early. Broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
Race 2   GARTH JEMMETT CONTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - held up passing the 400m.
STRIKE ME HANDSOME - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
THE NIGHT FOX - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the gelding had worked hard in the early and middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - broke just prior to the start being effected checking a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the request of trainer B Mowbray.
MISTER BLUE SKY - trainer B Ward was issued a warning for being late to present the gelding on course.
LEWEY MAGUIRE - raced wide middle stages.
FLYING FOR ME - raced wide early. Driver L O'Reilly advised the removable deafeners had failed to activate due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
DULCINEA - held up final bend.
SPRED SHEET - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
TEETAN - checked by a breaking runner just prior to the start losing considerable ground. Broke passing the 1100m again losing ground. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the replays of the start with driver S Iremonger with TEETAN being declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
Race 3   CLEM & RUSSELL BRAND MEMORIAL TROT
LOOKALIKE LOBELL - began awkwardly. Weakened final bend.
A HILL TWO MENNY - began awkwardly.
LOVEY DOVEY NOVA - hung inwards through the middle stages causing driver T Chmiel some difficulty. Broke passing the 1100m losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
MEGS DRAGON - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
WAIHEMO HANNAH - broke at the start losing all chance.
WHO'S QUEEN - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up rounding the final bend.
MAINBOCHER - broke rounding the first bend losing ground.
GRANNY ROSE - weakened early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and would be making gear changes prior to the gelding racing next.

SWIFTNSWEET - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1250m. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he was disappointed with the effort. Connections advised the filly would now be sent for a spell.
SPORTY MISS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1250m. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 800m.
GOOD TIME BETTY - raced wide early. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room until late in the run home.
SHAPELY - broke passing the 1250m hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
FREEDOMS BEAUTY - hung outwards in the score up and through the early stages.
SWEET SPIRIT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1250m.
OKIWI BAY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1250m.

The start was delayed due to the gear on THOR requiring attention.
HOWIE ROBYN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S McNally. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DIDJASEEMIKI - lay outwards and paced roughly passing the 1200m after a slight easing of the pace.
THOR - raced wide throughout and hung outwards at various stages. Lay inwards late in the run home.
PLAY IT COOL - raced wide early.
FRANCO ELVIS - raced wide with cover throughout.
QUICKER THAN QUICK - raced wide early. Broke briefly passing the 200m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
CARVING UP - raced wide early and middle stages. Lay outwards leaving the final bend and in the run home despite the efforts of driver C Dalgety.
MIGHTY FLYING LOU - out of position at the start. Driver R May was issued with a warning. Raced wide with cover from the 900m.

LUCKY MUM - lay out in the run home and came together with WE CAN HAVE IT ALL over the concluding stages.

PRINCESS SADIE - trotted roughly in the score up. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised the filly had over-raced during the running with the effort taking its toll. Mr Williamson added he would be removing the blinds for the filly's next start.
STORM CLOUD - trainer P Williamson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after a bandage came adrift during the running.

FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke at the start losing ground. Held up final bend and early in the run home by a weakening runner.
KALASA - broke at the start and shifted outwards hampering an outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 800m.
GOODOLDAYZ - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Held up leaving the final bend.
KIRKMAN - began awkwardly and shifted outwards marginally hampering an outside runner. Driver T Chmiel defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Chmiel the Adjudicative Committee upheld the charge and suspended Mr Chmiel's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 26 November 2023 (3 days).
HEY TONIGHT - hampered and broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
ABSOLUTE DYNAMITE - raced wide from the 800m.
TACT TEEL - trainer M Jones was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified sliding blinds. Held up final bend and early in the run home by a weakening runner.

CARDI B - over-raced middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
JUST FOLLOW ME - paced roughly at the start. Broke late in the run home.

LOUIS - raced wide without cover from the 700m.
CLASSIC MISSION - the boring pole detached near the 150m and fell to the track. This gear was inspected and found to be in good condition with trainer B Williamson deemed not to be at fault.
