Trainer A Hoffman advised Stewards on 5 November that blood tests conducted on ONE CHANGE had revealed the gelding to have a blood disorder which has been treated and it is her intention to continue on with the current preparation.

Race 1   CRAIG AT HARCOURTS TROT
JACCKA BAYLIS - tangled away. Lay out on various occasions during the running. Trotted roughly throughout the run home.
WITHOUT COMPARISON - broke after 150m losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly early stages.
GET ALONG - briefly hampered rounding the first bend.
WATTLE HILL - fractious prior to the start.
ACTION PACKED - Trainer A Wohlers advised Stewards on 5 November that the gelding has had both hocks and a fetlock treated since last racing. Mr Wohlers was issued with a warning for being late to notify ACTION PACKED would race without the notified blinds. Commenced to pace rounding the first bend hampering a trailing runner and having to be broken up by Driver B Orange to return to its correct gait, losing ground. Paced again rounding the final bend having to be restrained and losing all chance. Stood down to complete one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing next. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing start engagements. Cast the near front racing plate during the running.
Race 2   craig@harcourtsinv.co.nz MOBILE PACE
ROBYNS ART - placed in restricted room and broke shortly after the start when runners either side shifted ground. After viewing replays and speaking with Driver M Hurrell, Stewards could not apportion fault to any one horse or Driver and were satisfied the incident was due to general tightening from several runners, accordingly no further action was deemed necessary.
A MAJOR STARR - lay out in the latter stages of the run home having to be straightened by Driver D Anderson.
MIKI'S BEAUTY - held up in the early and latter stages of the run home.
Race 3   WOODLANDS MOTORS 3YO FILLIES MOBILE PACE
TAKEITOUT - stumbled leaving the final bend with the filly casting the off-front racing plate and losing considerable ground.
Race 4   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
ASTA - lay in throughout the run home having to be corrected by Driver B Orange.
DEMI DARLING - weakened from the 700m hampering a trailing runner. Stood down to complete one trial in a competitive manner to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
MACANDREW MARKUP - over-raced in the early stages. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m losing its chance.
GRUBSCREW - lay in through the early stages of the run home.
THE NEXT BEST THING - Driver B Williamson reported the gelding had raced greenly throughout.
Race 5   LOOKING TO SELL CALL CRAIG AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
I'M WATCHING YOU - held up over the concluding stages of the run home.
ASK ME LOU - under pressure from the 500m. Lay in final bend.
HALEY ROBYN - weakened final bend.
DALNESS ARIZONA - weakened final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver B Barclay advised that the race was not run to suit and the mare had got too far back as a result.
Race 6   PERFECT STING AT MACCA LODGE MOBILE PACE
WITH A BANG - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
QUADDIE VC - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - lay out in the run home.
Race 7   027 633 1777 FOR CRAIG AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
HACKSAW RIDGE - the off-side rein became detached on pulling up some distance after the finish line causing Driver R Gutsell some difficulty in restraining the gelding. Trainer R Gutsell was issued with a warning for failing to affix gear so as not to come adrift.
LIVY DESMA - when asked to comment on the improved performance Trainer L Bond advised the mare had benefitted from the addition of spreaders and an increase in workload, adding he was not surprised by the better effort today.
NYLA - Trainer S Armour advised the mare would be racing in season. Held up final bend.
Race 8   FAST 10 HERE WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER HANDICAP TROT
BILL BOOTIT - lay in final bend contacting track markers.
RUBY SEDDON - cast the off-fore racing plate and bell boot passing the 1100m. Trotted roughly from the 700m before weakening final bend. Broke near the 250m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - over-raced through the middle stages. Driver D O'Connell had some difficulty releasing the removable deafeners on the gelding.
Race 9   CHRISTMAS BREAK UP 22 DECEMBER PHONE 021351499 MOBILE PACE
VICTOR BRAVO - over-raced middle stages.
HE'S A MEISTER - raced wide early. Driver S O'Reilly reported she was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
HAZER - over-raced early stages. Lay in leaving the final bend.
Race 10   MARQUEES FOR HIRE 22 DECEMBER PHONE 021351499 MOBILE PACE
CRAIGSYDE - weakened over the concluding stages. When asked to comment on the performance Driver M Hurrell could offer no tangible explanation.
OUTBACK MAN - paced roughly shortly after the start.
SEA FURY - over-raced near the 1700m when being restrained in an effort to obtain cover.
BOWLEM OVER - held up final bend.
CLOSE - hung inwards and briefly lost contact with the field passing the 500m.
