Trainer R Austin advised Stewards on 1 November that blood tests taken from DONMARO revealed no abnormalities and he has increased the gelding's workload in preparation for racing on Friday at Addington.
Race 10 - FALSE STEP MOBILE TROT
Trainer B Butt advised Stewards on 24 October that blood tests taken from MASTERLY revealed the gelding to have a virus which is being treated.

Junior driver G Thornley (assisted by C Thornley) elected to change her plea and admit the charge in that she drove carelessly leaving the final bend when allowing her runner POETRY IN MOTION to strike the sulky wheel of BIG MAMA MORRIS which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.

PORTELLI - broke near the 150m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
KING OF DIAMONDS - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
LOVE WALKED IN - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 400m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
QUEEN DOREEN - broke at the start and hampered an outside runner losing all chance.
MAINBOCHER - driver R Close reported the gelding had hung outwards throughout causing him difficulty.
SPECIAL EFFECTS - broke briefly at the start. Lay inwards near the 1200m striking a track marker. Broke again near the 500m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver J Stormont defended a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) alleging that he shifted outwards near the 1100m forcing THE GARDENER'S PRIDE (S O'Reilly) to race wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from all parties, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Stormont's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 10 November 2023 (2 days).
MOA MOJITO - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke losing all chance.
BOSS JO - lay inwards rounding the first bend crowding an inside runner. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 100m.
DIEDRE FRANCO - crowded rounding the first bend striking track markers. Lay inwards near the 1100m again striking track markers. Broke near the 250m losing all chance.
THE GARDENER'S PRIDE - forced to race wider on the track near the 1100m when SPECIAL EFFECTS shifted outwards.
Race 2   SPEIGHT'S FILLIES& MARES MOBILE PACE
KARDASHIAN - held up final bend.
A ROCKN TO THE BLUES - driver J Versteeg admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Versteeg's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 14 November 2023 (3 days).
SEARING LIGHT - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer A Edge advised the mare had been suited to racing on the grass track and had capitalised after receiving an economical run and being driven with a sit.
MATAU MARIA - paced roughly shortly after the start.
TERROR MA SUE - paced roughly and lost ground near the 1100m. Driver L O'Reilly advised the mare had paced roughly throughout and did not handle the grass track. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BONNEY ELOISE - fractious prior to the start and broke in the score up resulting in the mare being out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. A side carrier broke during the running and came adrift. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition with trainer M House deemed not to be at fault.
SEA JAY - held up final bend.
Race 3   RYAL BUSH TRANSPORT ASHBUTON PACE
PACIFIC THUNDER - broke at the start losing ground.
STRIKE ME HANDSOME - broke at the start checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HEAVEN - broke at the start losing ground. Paced roughly in the early stages.
AMERICANO - checked by an outside runner at the start and broke losing ground.
SPIRITED LOU - swung inwards as the start was effected checking an inside runner and broke losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the horse. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
FALCON'S MONARCH - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Checked by a breaking runner at the start.
MEMORIES N HEAVEN - the boring pole came adrift shortly after the start. This gear was inspected and found to be in good condition with trainer I Cameron deemed not to be at fault. Paced roughly at various stages throughout. Hung inwards in the run home causing driver K Cameron some difficulty.

DRAGONS SUNRISE - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m.
RUTHLESS LIZZIE - driver A Mugford was warned for allowing her runner to shift into the passing lane when leading in the run home before being corrected.
RACHMANINOV - driver T Grant was warned for the manner he eased the pace near the 1200m resulting in trailing runners being hampered.
GINAS MAJESTY - raced wide with cover from the 1100m. Hung inwards leaving the final bend and trotted roughly in the run home.
TAKE AFTER ME - raced wide throughout. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - over-raced middle stages.
PRINCE RANIER - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
NAVARA - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m.
KOWHAI SUNSET - raced wide early. Broke near the 1200m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
DD'S SUPER STUART - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1200m. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

WHITE STAR ORLANDO - broke as the start was effected. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
FLO MOTION - hung inwards racing into the first bend crowding inside runners. Notwithstanding this driver L O'Reilly was issued with a warning to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
ZIA BROMAC - held up early in the run home.
TOWER OF LOVE - slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. Driver J Simpson was issued with a warning. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
Race 6   MAYFIELD TRANSPORT PACE
AUCKLAND PARTY - paced roughly in the early stages and again in the run home.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - held up middle stages of the run home. Driver L O'Reilly reported the gelding had hung outwards in the run home and had been unable to take the passing lane despite his efforts when it became available passing the 250m.
KIRKMAN - broke at the start losing ground. Hung inwards early in the run home.
LORD MUDRICK - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
RAISE THE DEVIL - connections advised the gelding would be racing without front shoes. Broke shortly after the start checking trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

BLUE ROCK DANCER - lay inwards passing the 500m striking track markers. Lay outwards when being shifted wider on the track passing the 200m and when being corrected crowded outside runners. Notwithstanding this driver B Hope was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground. Mr Hope advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.

PAIGE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer B Negus advised the mare has been freshened since its last start and has raced well in that state previously.
JASPRIT TROUBLE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 400m. Held up early in the run home.
PEAKNMONKEY - connections advised the gelding has had its knees treated since last racing. Broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LUCINDA HEST - hampered by a weakening runner near the 400m.

BEST TRIO - crowded after 150m by an outside runner and paced roughly. Broke near the 600m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
EVIDENTLY - hampered after 150m having to be steadied. Struck a track marker passing the 150m. Driver J Curtin was issued with a warning.
SANTANNA MACH - shifted ground inwards after 150m crowding an inside runner which paced roughly. Driver W House was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
