Race 1   TOTE BURGER, YOUR BEST BET FOR BURGERS HANDICAP TROT
ULTIMATE MOMENT - lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
SHESGOLD - began awkwardly losing ground.
TRUE STORY - when questioned regarding the performance Driver P Ferguson advised that the gelding had not been suited with the tempo of the race which developed into a sprint home.
SLY PUNTER - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear. Driver D Butcher reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
MR MUSCLE - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened final bend.
Race 2   CHRISTMAS AT THE RACEWAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
SHIRLEY BASSEY - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
MINJEE - over-raced when being restrained to take a trail near the 1300m.
SHEZA MERMAID - raced wide with a trail early but was then left three wide without cover from the 1100m.
LIZZI QUESTRO - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 10.13am.
ILLUSIVE SUNSHINE - over-raced in the early stages.
GLADYS GREENLAND - hampered by a tiring runner rounding the final bend and was then held up early in the run home.
CAROLINA MOON - weakened in the run home.
Race 3   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
FAITH IN MANCHESTER - lay inwards and struck track markers near the 1300m.
MAZEPPA - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Trotted roughly and gave ground from the 800m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with Trainer L Chin in the coming days.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - lay inwards and raced inside track markers rounding the final bend. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage.
PHOEBE MAJESTIC - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final turn.
YUROK - weakened final turn.
BELLATRIX - fractious prior to the start. Weakened final turn.
Race 4   MICO MOBILE PACE
PERUN - lay inwards and struck track markers near the 900m. Lay inwards again and raced inside a track marker rounding the final turn.
KRACKA SHARDON - raced in restricted room entering the first turn. Weakened final turn.
CHANGEALOT - broke racing into the first turn after unsuccessfully contesting for a position in the running line and lost ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MESSENGER BUOY - lay in entering the first turn and then raced in restricted room to the inside of MY WAY, which also lay in. Raced wide early and then again without cover from the 1300m.
MY WAY - lay in entering the first turn despite the efforts of Driver T Cameron placing inside runners in restricted room. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners.
INNOCENT MAN - hampered by a breaking runner approaching the 1700m and broke briefly.
GIMMESOMELOVIN - contacted track markers entering the first turn when racing in restricted room.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - raced greenly entering the first turn. Over-raced and broke near the 1750m when being restrained off the back of KRACKA SHARDON, hampering trailing runners and lost ground. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners. Raced wide with cover from the 1300m. Weakened in the run home.
WHITFIELD - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750m. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
HEAVEN HIGH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750m. Hampered by a weakening runner final turn.
Race 5   PLUMBING WORLD MOBILE PACE
ACUSHLA MACHREE - Driver B Mangos admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. After viewing the replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Mangos' Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 10 November 2023 (3 days).
MR PRESIDENT - paced roughly shortly after the start.
SUNSHINE SHELBY - held up final turn and throughout the run home.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - held up throughout the run home with Driver M Ranger not activating the deafeners as a result.
Race 6   BUTELINE HANDICAP PACE
PIXIE - held up final turn and then had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
WHOOSHKA - paced roughly shortly after the start. Shifted out on straightening for the run home.
CLAUDE - Driver C Hackett reported that she received a punctured sulky tyre near the 500m when contacted by the trailing VILLAGE REBEL, when CLAUDE was being steadied to clear the sulky wheel of BETTOR HEIST before shifting out to trail that runner.
VILLAGE REBEL - paced roughly for several strides shortly after the start. Hampered briefly passing the 150m when taken up the track to provide room to an inside runner that had become awkwardly placed.
HESASHORETHING - reared when called forward into line then broke at the start losing ground before settling.
BAD MEDICINE - held up final turn and early stages of the run home. Had to be steadied inside the final 50m when placed in restricted room between PIXIE and VILLAGE REBEL, which both shifted ground. Driver Z Meredith was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he drove when attempting to shift ground outwards early in the run home.
BETTOR HEIST - raced wide without cover from the 950m after having been shifted wider by CLAUDE. Weakened final turn.
Race 7   THE HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
SPARKIE - shifted out on straightening for the run home but was corrected by Driver C Hackett.
SUPER DUPER DUDE - had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
ROMEO SHARD - weakened near the 400m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
WICKED WANDA - Driver P Ferguson reported he did not activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 8   MASTERLINK 21ST BIRTHDAY MOBILE PACE
PROVISEUR - weakened in the run home.
NO ADDED SUGAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m then lay inwards shortly after contacting a track marker.
NEYMAR - broke near the 300m hampering trailing runners and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
PETER FORSBERG - commenced to weaken final bend then checked by a breaking runner near the 300m.
Race 9   DUX/MPG HANDICAP TROT
LADY LARNI - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 5.03pm after being injured en route to the course.
SLAINTE - pre-race warmed. Began awkwardly and was slow early losing considerable ground.
LORD POPINJAY - pre-race warmed.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - lay in and trotted roughly rounding the first turn striking track markers and lost ground.
