FROSTY GIRL - trotted roughly in the latter stages of the run home.
TORQUAY STREET - lay out at stages throughout.
MILES AWAY - Driver B Barclay reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to the gelding trotting roughly in the run home.
HAIL STONE - Trainer L Veint reported the mare would be racing in season. Weakened final bend.
STORM CLOUD - when asked to comment on the performance Driver N Williamson advised he was not overly disappointed with the effort, adding the filly had raced greenly at stages and would improve with the run.
JACCKA BAYLIS - slow to begin.
KISS ME KATE - weakened final bend.
Race 2   LAZARUS STANDING AT NEVELE R STUD MOBILE PACE
MAJOR DISRUPTION - late scratching at 9.20am due to an administration error.
BALTIC STAR - Driver R Gutsell was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
SEA FURY - lay in throughout the run home having to be corrected by Driver B Barclay.
TUNEINSPORTSFANS - raced wide early.
OH NO NANA - raced wide early. When asked to comment on the performance Driver R McIlwrick advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
Race 3   CAPTAIN CRUNCH AT ALABAR MOBILE PACE
LOU'S DEAL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver N Williamson reported LOU'S DEAL had knocked a knee causing it to break.
FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - lay in on the final bend striking track markers then continued to lay in throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver K Green.
RUSTENBURG - Driver M Hurrell reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   NEXT RACE DAY HERE - SUNDAY 19 NOVEMBER MOBILE PACE
TASHS BAD GIRL - Trainer A Kyle reported the mare would be racing in season. Weakened final bend.
SUPERFAST - Driver B Norman admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Norman's Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 12 November 2023 (3 days).
Race 5   LATHER UP AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
THE BETTOR MAJOR - held up rounding the final bend.
ROCK FERRY - paced roughly and broke briefly rounding the bend near the 1300m. Broke again passing the 1100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
FOREVER ARDEN - weakened final bend briefly hampering a trailing runner. When asked to comment on the performance Driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had done some work early however notwithstanding that he was disappointed with the effort. Trainer W Adams advised he will have blood tests conducted on the gelding and undertook to notify the Stewards of the results.
FRANCO SAILOR - briefly hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
BROCK - weakened from the 1300m. Stood down to complete one trial in a competitive manner to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
Race 6   SPONSOR A RACE HERE - 021 351499 HANDICAP TROT
JULIE JACCKA - broke briefly shortly after the start. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
ERROL D - broke shortly after the start and again on several further occasions losing all chance and eventually being retired from the race.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke passing the 600m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
OUR GOLDEN KENNY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 600m and broke briefly in consequence.
Race 7   CREATION SIGNS MOBILE PACE
MIKI'S BEAUTY - Trainer C Barron was issued with a warning for not having the correct colours available.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - paced roughly at various stages throughout.
SHEZZA VINNY - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
LOUIES GIRL - Driver M Hurrell reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
KAWATIRI CREEK - weakened over the concluding stages.
CAPTAIN SARAH - held up through the middle and latter stages of the run home.
JUDITH GWENDA - late scratching at 8.11am due to being sold.

CHRIS KYLE - Driver J Cox reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
HE'S A MEISTER - Driver K Green admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

MAJESTIC WHISPER - tangled away.
SALLY LINDENNY - tangled away. Briefly locked sulky stays with DEM BONES DEM BONES rounding the final bend.
STEVE - Driver B Norman reported he was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
RUBY SEDDON - broke passing the 100m.
DEM BONES DEM BONES - briefly locked sulky stays with SALLY LINDENNY rounding the final bend.
Race 10   HOSPITALITY SPACES AVAILABLE - 021 351499 MOBILE PACE
FALCONS WATCH - lay in rounding the final bend despite the efforts of Driver B Orange contacting track markers. Continued to lay in throughout the home straight and locked wheels with HACKSAW RIDGE passing the 100m.
MAMMA MIA - shifted ground outwards near the 300m and struck the sulky wheel of JENNY GUMP resulting in the tyre puncturing. Junior Driver S O'Reilly, assisted by Trainer L Bond, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
HACKSAW RIDGE - locked wheels with FALCONS WATCH passing the 100m.
JENNY GUMP - sustained a punctured sulky tyre passing the 300m when MAMMA MIA shifted ground outwards with the tyre and tube coming off the rim near the 50m and the mare finishing in 2nd placing. Following the running of the race Driver N Williamson requested to view footage of this incident and subsequently lodged a Protest against 1st placing being awarded to MAMMA MIA alleging the punctured sulky tyre had interfered with the chances of his runner finishing in 1st placing. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Mr Williamson and Driver S O'Reilly (MAMMA MIA) the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the Protest.
