Race 1 - OFF THE TRACK FOOD AND BEV MOBILE PACE
Trainer J Abernethy advised Stewards on 23 October that PETER FORSBERG had recovered well following this race, has subsequently been working well in trackwork and it is his intention to continue on with the gelding's current preparation.

Race 1   THANK YOU LEN HAYDOCK HANDICAP TROT
MR MONTY - began awkwardly.
YA KNOW - connections advised the mare would be racing in foal and without front shoes.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - paced away having to be broken up by Driver S Abernethy to return the gelding to its correct gait. Lay inwards on the bends. Hampered by a breaking runner passing the 600m. Broke passing the 400m losing ground.
THANK YOU - slow to begin. Trotted roughly near the 1000m. Hampered by a breaking runner passing the 600m. Broke inside the final 50m and continued in a break across the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) against this runner's 4th placing alleging the gelding was lapped on at the finish line by STORMS ACOMING when in a break. Driver B Butcher did not contest the protest and THANK YOU was relegated to 5th placing by the Adjudicative Committee.
KINGSCLERE - over-raced and shifted outwards abruptly near the 1350m having to be corrected by Driver J Abernethy. Broke near the 600m losing ground and hampering trailing runners.
STORMS ACOMING - slow to begin.
HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL - broke near the 250m losing its chance.
Race 2   BOOK FOR XMAS FUNCTION 14 DECEMBER MOBILE PACE
LOUIE V TONNE - lay inwards rounding the final bend contacting track markers.
ALWAYS FLYIN - over-raced through the middle stages. Driver P Ferguson was issued with a warning for crossing his reins when making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.
SHARKNTATTIES - paced roughly rounding the first bend.
STEALERS WHEEL - paced roughly late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Continued to pace roughly in the early stages.
Race 3   DOUG GALE STABLES MOBILE PACE
LIZZI QUESTRO - paced roughly and lay outwards rounding the final bend then broke briefly. Continued to pace roughly and lay inwards in the early and middle stages of the run home. Junior Driver J Bublitz, assisted by Driver P Ferguson, was shown footage of the race for educational purposes and advised she is expected to show greater control of her horse when in similar circumstances.
PENNYS FIRST FLIGHT - raced wide into the first bend.
HARING HABAGAT - raced wide into the first bend.
MISS WOODVILLE - over-raced shortly after the start. Lay outwards when racing wide round the first bend. Continued to over-race at various stages throughout.
ROCKAFILLY - raced wide into the first bend. Lay inwards and paced roughly near the 400m.
BLAZE MAGUIRE - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Over-raced causing Driver F Schumacher some difficulty and then broke passing the 1700m losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 4   STEPHEN DOODY RACING STABLES MOBILE PACE
HAMPTON - over-raced through the middle stages.
LADY LA SALLE - raced wide into the first bend.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - held up rounding the final bend having to angle outwards to improve, then paced roughly near the 100m.
BET ON STEPH - raced three wide from the 850m. Weakened from the 450m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver N Delany could offer no tangible explanation other than having to race wide through the middle stages had taken its toll on the mare over the concluding stages.
Race 5   RACING AGAIN 13TH NOVEMBER MOBILE PACE
BETTOR GRUNTER - Driver S Doody was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the early and middle stages of the run home.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - Driver N Delany reported that the off side sliding blind had failed to activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
EDDIE OSEI - paced roughly shortly after the start. Raced in the parked position from the 1600m until weakening passing the 300m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver F Schumacher advised having to race parked for a considerable distance had taken its toll on the gelding and its ability to finish the race off competitively.
RAGING WHITEBAIT - lay inwards rounding the final bend.
