0xfdA0uxMCg REMISSION - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
AUNTIE DEB - paced roughly in the early stages having to be steadied.
WEHAVTIME - held up leaving the final bend.
RAKNRUIN - broke after 100m when contacting the sulky wheel of WEHAVTIME losing ground, with a trailing runner being checked. Driver B Barclay admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. When questioned regarding the performance B Barclay advised the filly had travelled well until the final bend however had disappointed when asked for an effort.
RAKLOU - checked by a breaking runner after 100m losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver P Hunter advised the filly had to work hard through the middle stages after being forced to race wide on the track by inside runners, however he felt RAKLOU would derive considerable benefit from its first run back from a spell.

Race 2 HERBERTS TRANSPORT LTD MOBILE PACE	Show Video
kb33stNJnmM A false start was declared when POTTER broke in the score up after making contact with the mobile arm checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver C Ferguson elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. There was a further delay to the start when POTTER required gear adjustments.
AARDIE'S CAPTAIN - driver R Stevens was warned for loose reining in the run home.
POTTER - Stewards questioned driver C Ferguson regarding the tactics he adopted passing the 1800m when electing to shift outwards and improve to the lead after initially restraining to take a trail rounding the first bend. Mr Ferguson explained that his intention had been to lead however THE WULVER had improved quickly to his outside rounding the first bend so he felt his best option was to restrain to obtain cover rather than attempt to withstand a challenge from THE WULVER and then come back around to the lead before being covered by outside runners. After considering his explanation, Stewards were satisfied his tactics were reasonable in the circumstances and took the matter no further.
STUBING - hampered near the 1700m after a slight easing of the pace. Hampered again near the 850m. Weakened final bend. Driver B Williamson reported the gelding had paced roughly throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
ROBYNS ART - raced wide early. Locked wheels with GERRY'S BOY near the 850m hampering trailing runners. Weakened from the 600m.
CARBON COPY - hampered near the 1700m after a slight easing of the pace. Hampered again near the 850m. Held up early in the run home.
GUNNER ANDY - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trainer M Brinsdon advised he would be making gear changes prior to the gelding resuming.
MATAURA B B - trainer T Stratford was issued with a warning for being late to present the gelding on course. Over-raced early stages.
REBOUND - trainer T Dewe reported the gelding has been treated for stomach ulcers since last racing. Over-raced for a distance through the early and middle stages. Hampered near the 1700m after a slight easing of the pace. Hampered again near the 850m. When questioned regarding the performance driver R McIlwrick advised the gelding had failed to settle through the early and middle stages with the effort taking its toll.
GERRY'S BOY - paced roughly late in the score up. Lay inwards and locked wheels with ROBYNS ART near the 850m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

arpnNHFxOzc FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - driver D O'Connell admitted a charge under Rule 869(7A)(c) in that he shifted inwards leaving the final bend which forced KNOCKSHANBALLY to race inside track markers. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
ARLO MAGUIRE - weakened leaving the final bend.
ARCHAIC LUSTRE - lay inwards on the bends. Weakened final bend. Driver K Tomlinson reported the gelding had been making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have some nasal discharge and some hind limb lameness. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
SWEET TREAT - weakened leaving the final bend.
LA MOTH - driver A Milne defended a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Milne, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Mr Milne's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 5 November 2023 (3 days).
DALNESS ARIZONA - weakened leaving the final bend.
KNOCKSHANBALLY - raced inside track markers leaving the final bend when racing to the inside of FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 869(7B) against this runner's 2nd placing being awarded alleging the gelding gained an advantage on the final bend when racing inside track markers and thereby obtaining a run to which it was not entitled. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver S Tomlinson it was established that KNOCKSHANBALLY had been forced over track markers as a result of interference received from FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ with the Adjudicative Committee dismissing the Protest.

Race 4 WYNDHAM PIONEER LIONS CLUB MOBILE TROT	Show Video
bPNBZQ59HYE A false start was declared when CONTESSA'S PRIDE broke in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver C Ferguson elected to start from the Unruly position for the restart where the mare will remain for future mobile starts.
CONTESSA'S PRIDE - trainer L Bond was issued with a warning for presenting the mare to race without the notified blinds. Broke after 100m losing ground. Broke again rounding the first bend losing further ground. Broke on a further occasion rounding the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ABADABADO - driver S Tomlinson reported the sliding blinds had failed to activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
SALLY LINDENNY - broke in the score up at the first attempt.
RUBY SEDDON - trotted roughly at various stages throughout.

MISSILE - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Continued to trot roughly before breaking near the 400m losing all chance. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Williamson advised the gelding had been striking a knee. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
WILLANGUS LAD - broke at the start losing ground. Trotted roughly in the run home.
OUR GOLDEN KENNY - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised the mare was unsuited to the fast tempo of the race however he was disappointed with the effort.

NWp66eUfvso JENNY GUMP - broke at the start hampering an inside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
SAGWITCH - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TARTAN RAIDER - tangled away.
GRONKOWSKI - the required Veterinary Clearance was received. Trainer D O'Connell was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified blinds. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver D Anderson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near front leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
CASTELO DE VIDE - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had travelled well however when placed under pressure inside the final 400m had failed to finish the race off as expected and proved disappointing.
GRINNING AGAIN - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.

A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Trainer A Wohlers advised the gelding had lost the off front racing plate during the running.
BLITHE - caretaker trainer L Bond was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare to race without the notified blinds.
KYLE LOCH - hung inwards near the 1800m striking a track marker.
BRING ON THE MUSCLE - lay inwards throughout the run home causing driver B Barclay some difficulty.
BLACK PAT - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver P Williamson advised the filly had travelled well until the 800m however had been unable to quicken when the pace of the race increased, and he was slightly disappointed with the effort.
GRANNY ROSE - weakened leaving the final bend.
BILL BOOTIT - broke near the 150m and continued on in a break over the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded to the gelding under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging BILL BOOTIT had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Driver N Williamson did not contest the protest and BILL BOOTIT was disqualified by Stewards.
SON OF MAJESTIC - weakened from the 600m before breaking near the 300m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

BROCK - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Lost contact with the body of the field passing the 1400m. Weakened final bend. Driver B McLellan reported the gelding had paced roughly at various stages throughout. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
BALTIC STAR - hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m. Weakened final bend.
THE NEXT BEST THING - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Tomlinson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
DARIN - struck track markers leaving the final bend when crowded by an outside runner after improving into a marginal run. Driver K Green was spoken to advisedly.
SEA FURY - hampered near the 1800m.
DEMI DARLING - raced wide early. Raced fiercely through the middle stages causing driver S O'Reilly considerable difficulty. Weakened from the 900m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer E Swain advised the mare had been striking its sulky wheels during the running. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
CAPTAIN SARAH - hampered near the 1800m.
DARBY - weakened final bend.

FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
MAMMA MIA - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Following the race, Stewards requested a Ruling with the Adjudicative Committee to determine whether MAMMA MIA was denied a fair start under Rule 213(1)(j). After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards, Starter B Ward and driver K Tomlinson, the Adjudicative Committee declared MAMMA MIA a runner.
VAN LIBERTY - weakened leaving the final bend.
HACKSAW RIDGE - refused to score up with the body of the field hampering a trailing runner. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to complete one mobile trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
VERLANDER - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HENRY MAGUIRE - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver P Hunter was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
AMERICAN MAC - hampered in the initial stages of the score up however was in position at the candy pole. Following the race, Stewards requested a Ruling with the Adjudicative Committee to determine whether AMERICAN MAC was denied a fair start under Rule 213(1)(j) due to the initial interference leaving the pre-race formation. After viewing replays and hearing from Stewards and trainer S Breen, the Adjudicative Committee declared AMERICAN MAC a runner.

6o8AV8GsX08 TASHS BAD GIRL - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver A Kyle was warned to maintain a straight course in the run home after allowing his mare to shift up the track crowding an outside runner.
BETTING SENSATION - driver K Green admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 400m when shifting ground outwards and striking the sulky wheel of TAKEITOUT which punctured. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
TAKEITOUT - driver N Williamson reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 400m.
PERFECT POTION - paced roughly leaving the final bend. Crowded by an inside runner early in the run home. Driver B Williamson defended a charge under Rule 868(3) alleging that he failed to drive PERFECT POTION out to the end of the race when having a reasonable chance of finishing in 4th placing outright. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Williamson, the Adjudicative Committee adjourned the matter for further consideration.
ICEE STYXIE - weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering a possible heart arrhythmia. Stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance including the results of an ECG prior to resuming.

TAYLA ME - trainer B McIntyre reported the mare has had its fetlocks treated since last racing. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised the mare had travelled well however failed to respond when placed under pressure inside the final 200m and was showing signs of being in season.
BROOKIES PLAYER - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home. Driver M Hill reported he did not release the removable deafeners in consequence.
