Junior driver C Dalgety (who declined the assistance of a senior driver) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip continuously in the run home when driving FERNETTI. After hearing submissions on penalty from the Stewards and Mr Dalgety the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300. |
