Race 1   TAMA LOPER BUILDERS PACE
REBOUND - trainer K Cox was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect number.
DEAN JAMES - broke at the start losing ground.
BETSY LOU - fractious prior to the start. Hampered shortly after the start. Paced roughly rounding the first bend. Again paced roughly on the final bend before weakening.
RUSHKINOFF - broke at the start hampering an inside runner and losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
MAJOR DISRUPTION - over-raced middle stages.
SPRED SHEET - trainer G Shand was warned for not having mudguards affixed to his sulky. Broke at the start losing considerable ground. Over-raced middle stages. Shifted outwards abruptly near the 1100m despite the efforts of driver G Shand losing ground. Weakened from the 600m. Mr Shand advised the mare had been striking the sulky wheels through the middle stages causing him considerable difficulty so he elected to improve three wide. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.

MONARO MEG - weakened final bend.
MOSES - trotted roughly over the concluding stages. Driver J Dunn advised the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
MODE - briefly locked wheels with GEORGE ELIOT shortly after the start. Weakened from the 800m.
GEORGE ELIOT - broke at the start and briefly locked wheels with MODE.
MEGS DRAGON - broke at the start losing all chance.
ELLAMON - weakened final bend.
CAMERON MOR - weakened final bend.
LUVAVICI - driver K Cox was spoken to and advised to start wider on the track when drawn on the unruly.
BONEY M - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1800m.

JUSTIN FUN - weakened from the 600m.
BOARDING CALL - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised the mare had benefited from a change in training regime and a better draw today.
Race 4   DAVID REID HOMES WAITAKI-SOUTH CANTERBURY HANDICAP TROT
GREENBANK DON - trainer P Kerr was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with sliding blinds which had not been notified.
MISSILE - trotted roughly in the run home.
OUR PINOCCHIO - slow to begin.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly for a distance passing the 800m. Broke near the 300m hampering a trailing runner.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m. Driver D O'Connell was warned for the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
Race 5   DIAMOND CREEK FARM OAMARU JUVENILE STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
A false start was declared due to a hind bandage on DOUBLE JEOPARDY coming loose in the score up. This gear was inspected and found to be taped with co-trainers S & A Telfer deemed not to be at fault.
SPIRIT OF ANARCHY - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety reported the gelding failed to handle the track conditions today.
Race 6   NEVELE R '50 YEARS OF SUCCESS' (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE
POETRY IN MOTION - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
TOKYO ROSE - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
ADVANCE PARTY - held up final bend and early in the run home.
Race 7   PLACEMAKERS HANNON MEMORIAL (STAND PACE)
REPUBLICAN PARTY - lay inwards near the 1750m making contact with ANYTHING GOES despite the efforts of driver B Orange and dislodged a mudguard.
FRANCO NORTON - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start losing ground.
ANYTHING GOES - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
ONE CHANGE - held up middle stages of the run home.
MACANDREW AVIATOR - over-raced middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had over-raced which had taken its toll.
AARDIE'S EXPRESS - paced roughly near the 200m when utilising the passing lane.
DECEPTIVE LEE - shied inwards and broke briefly at the start losing ground.
MIGHTY LOOEE - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
U MAY CULLECT - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Driver K Green advised the off side hopple shortener failed to activate after the cord became entangled.
Co-trainer A Telfer advised Stewards on 21 September that AARDIE'S EXPRESS has had a knee treated since last racing.
Race 8   DAVID OVENS BUILDING MOBILE PACE
STRIKE ME HANDSOME - driver G Hunt was warned for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
ALMIGHTY CLEVER - checked and broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
DARBY - paced roughly and lay inwards checking ALMIGHTY CLEVER shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Again lay inwards rounding the final bend.
WAVEWATCHER - raced wide without cover from the 900m.
MYSTAR BLUE JEAN - driver B Orange advised the gelding had hung outwards throughout.
RURAL CASH - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Williamson advised the gelding had felt lethargic throughout and failed to handle the track conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
KID GLOVES - out of position at the start. Driver J Patterson was issued a warning. Weakened final bend.
Race 9   JASMYN'S GIFT FILLIES & MARES STAKES (HANDICAP TROT)
THE IVY LEAGUE - broke near the 500m losing all chance.
MAKE MY SUNDON - broke near the 1400m losing ground.
MIXED FAITH - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
OUR GOLDEN KENNY - weakened final bend.
ALDEBARAN FLOSS - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m. Broke over the concluding stages.
GALWAY GIRL - switched to a pace near the 1300m before breaking hampering trailing runners and losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break during the running.
HIDDEN TALENT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m.
MY MOMENT'S NOW - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m. Raced wide from the 800m.
RESOLVE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300m. Broke near the 300m losing all chance.
Race 10   DOMINATOR GARAGE DOORS OAMARU MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to TIDE AND TIME requiring a change of sulky after sustaining a punctured sulky tyre.
DANCE WITH THE BOSS - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Paced roughly before being checked near the 300m and broke losing all chance.
RISE UP N DANCE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
MIGHTYFLYIN SUPASTAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
TIDE AND TIME - over-raced early and middle stages. Driver K Cox was warned to maintain a straight course in the run home and keep the passing lane clear for trailing runners.
WITH STYLE - broke near the 300m checking an inside runner with trailing runners also being hampered. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld, firstly until Stewards were satisfied that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in a break near the 300m and secondly, that the connections of MIGHTYFLYIN SUPASTAR (placed 4th) did not wish to proceed with a protest after being hampered.
