MICAITLEN DENARIO - shifted out through the middle stages of the home straight. Driver N Williamson was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
JENNY GUMP - over-raced through the early and middle stages when in the parked position.
Race 2   OWN A SHARE IN BEAUDIENE BLAZE MOBILE PACE
ARTMORE - Driver N Williamson was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
THE MAESTRO - paced roughly passing the 1100m briefly hampering a trailing runner. Weakened from the 800m and broke briefly. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Driver T Robertson advised he would be recommending gear changes. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile engagements at the request of Trainer P Andrews.
CLOSE - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after being observed to have blood present in one nostril and was cleared to start. Briefly hampered near the 1100m. Weakened from the 800m.
BEAUDIENE BLAZE - broke rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MAJOR ART - checked and hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
Race 3   RACE FOUR HORSES & A GREYHOUND HANDICAP TROT
RUBY SEDDON - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 9.16am.
GALLEONS FUTURE - held up leaving the final bend.
MISS JESSICA - lay inwards on the bends.
Race 4   OWN A SHARE IN WITH A BANG JUNIOR DRIVERS HCP PACE
TARTAN RAIDER - Driver C Faithful admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $350. Miss Faithful was also warned for using her whip free of the rein near the 400m and in a continuous manner in the early and middle stages of the run home.
HAZER - tangled away.
Race 5   NO DEPOSIT ONLY $80 A MONTH TROT
GRANNY ROSE - hampered by breaking runner near the 1800m then locked wheels with SON OF MAJESTIC for some distance, losing considerable ground. Promoted to 4th placing following a Protest.
SON OF MAJESTIC - broke passing the 1800m hampering trailing runners then locked wheels with GRANNY ROSE for some distance, losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SON OF THE CLEANER - pre-race warmed. Over-raced at various stages throughout. Broke passing the 150m and failed to settle. Stewards lodged a Protest against 4th placing being awarded to the gelding under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging SON OF THE CLEANER had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing the replays trainer T Stratford did not contest the protest and SON OF THE CLEANER was disqualified by the Stewards. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to racing next.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground.

SNOW ROBYN - Driver M Hurrell was warned for making contact with a track marker on the final bend.
STREET ART - Trainer C Ferguson reported the gelding has had a wind operation since last racing. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 7   CRAIG HEYRICK AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced at various stages throughout. Held up final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover.
FRANCO CORNEL - weakened final bend.
TABASCO - when questioned regarding the performance of the favoured runner Driver B Williamson advised he had got too far back in the running and was unable to make up ground over the concluding stages.
Race 8   INVERCARGILL HARNESS ASCOT PARK IRON HORSE BONUS MOB PACE
MUCHO FUERTE - Driver R Austin was warned for using his whip free of the rein on two occasions in the run home.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - over-raced at various stages throughout.
