ARTMORE - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the filly had travelled well however failed to respond when placed under pressure in the straight. Stewards will follow up with trainer T Stratford in the coming days. | |
STEEL LEDGER - hung inwards rounding the bends throughout and again rounding the final bend striking track markers. Trainer A Paisley advised that he will be making gear changes for future racing and the filly would also be examined by an equine dentist. | |
FUN TO LOVE - held up in the initial stages of the run home and then had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages. | |

HIGHLIGHT - fractious prior to the start and was out of position as a result after driver A Milne attempted to rectify this and was very slow to begin. Broke after 100m losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend. Stewards withheld payment of dividends until driver A Milne had confirmed his chances of a fair start had not been denied. | |
YUKON'D ME - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards for a distance rounding the final bend and in the initial stages of the run home. | |

AARDIE'S CAPTAIN - hampered by a weakening runner near the 1200m. Weakened rounding the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. | |

Mr Williamson further advised he was not overly disappointed and the mare would derive considerable benefit from the run. | |
