Race 3 - PEBBLE BEACH NEW AT ALABAR MOBILE PACE
Trainer J Douglas advised Stewards on 25th August that MACANDREW NAVIGATOR had bled on the return to his training stables. After receiving this information, MACANDREW NAVIGATOR was stood down for the mandatory 30 day period with connections advised that a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination prior to a satisfactory trial would be required before the gelding resumes racing.

Race 1   UPPERCUTS BUTCHERY TROT
MONARO MEG - trainer M Heenan was issued with a warning for presenting the filly with an anti-choke device which was not notified. Fractious prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
DIGNIFY - lay in over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out by driver A Black.
ACTION PACKED - slow to begin losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend when weakening.
KISS ME KATE - driver K Larsen was warned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 1750m.
CONTESSA'S PRIDE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
THE BRONX BOMBER - placed in restricted room by an outside runner having to be eased near the 1750m.
Race 2   NEXT RACEDAY HERE SATURDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER MOBILE PACE
THE MATRIARCH - the offside hopple centre carrier strap came adrift during the running. The gear was inspected and found to have been taped as required and in good condition.
LA MOTH - driver A Milne admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Milne's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing on Thursday 7th September up to and including Sunday 17th September (2 days).
JENNY GUMP - raced wide early.
Race 3   MARSHALL INDUSTRIES MOBILE TROT
SON OF MAJESTIC - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SON OF THE CLEANER - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again in the run home.
VELOCITY JET - trotted roughly in the run home. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners as a consequence.
KRACKALING - driver K Tomlinson reported she did not release the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
JUDICATE - broke rounding the final bend.

STEEL CRUSHER - over-raced middle stages.
TACT RONIN - lay in early stages of the run home.
THE MAESTRO - cast a bell boot rounding the final bend.
GERRY'S BOY - paced roughly in the score up. Paced roughly again rounding the final bend. Driver M Williamson reported the gelding had paced roughly on various occasions during the running.
CAPTAIN MEISTER - raced wide early.
Race 5   MACCA LODGE HANDICAP TROT
SWITCH ON - lay out at various stages of the run home.
ABACARDI HAZEL - held up throughout the run home.
STEVE - driver B Norman reported he was unable to release the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
MISS JESSICA - lay in on several occasions over the concluding stages having to be corrected by driver T Robertson. Mr Robertson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations that he used his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
ERROL D - broke at the start losing ground. Lay in rounding the final bend contacting several track markers.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
HIDDEN TALENT - slow to begin. Driver O Kite reported he did not release the removable deafeners due to having field covered.
Race 6   PEBBLE BEACH NEW IN 2023 AT ALABAR MOBILE PACE
MAGIC SIGN - trainer J Douglas reported the gelding has had its fetlocks treated since last racing.
LUCYS DELIGHT - held up early stages of the run home.
STILL ROCKIN - raced wide early. Over-raced in the parked position through the middle stages. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
Race 7   LATHER UP AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
I'M WATCHING YOU - held up middle stages of the run home.
MUCHO FUERTE - out of position at the start. Driver R Austin was issued with a warning.
NORTHVIEW DANCE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Brown advised the gelding derived natural benefit from its first up run and had received an economical trip today.
MYDADTHETERROR - paced roughly at various stages of the run home.
