Race 1   AIRPARK CANTERBURY MOBILE TROT
IT'S SO EASY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
AROHA KENNY - over-raced middle stages. Driver B Williamson advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
NOTASBADASILOOK - raced greenly and hung outwards late in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Continued to hang outwards on several occasions during the running.
CLYDE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m. Hung inwards rounding the final bend striking a track marker.
KD HAWK - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners.
BROTHER LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
Race 2   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE
COURTNEY ROSE - raced greenly in the early stages and broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
SEACRACKA - late scratching at 9.15am on Veterinary advice.
MILEY ACE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
SWEET JOY - broke near the 1700m hampering a trailing runner and losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
TOUCH N GO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Over-raced middle stages.
JUDINE - lay inwards over the concluding stages.
Race 3   WOODLANDS STUD 'SUPPORTING OUR FUTURE' MOBILE PACE
WHO'S DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages.
NO MATTER WAT - raced wide from the 500m. Paced roughly on occasions throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver O Thornley advised the mare had been striking itself over the latter stages.
Race 4   RENWICK FARMS MOBILE TROT
SON OF PATRICK - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver W House advised the gelding had appreciated a return to mobile racing and being able to race in a more prominent position close to the speed.
Race 5   CONTINENTAL EVENT HIRE MOBILE PACE
MAGICIAN - driver C Dalgety reported the gelding had been striking a knee rounding the final bend.
COUNTRY GOLD - driver J Dunn was warned for the manner in which he drove near the 150m when being held up and anticipating a run to the inside of POTTER resulting in him striking track markers.
WUHAN - over-raced middle stages.
FULLA HOT EYRE - trainer G Bond was issued a warning for presenting the colt to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified.
Race 6   KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION MOBILE PACE
WITH STYLE - hung inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
SINBAD - raced wide early.
PRIMA DONNA - held up near the 200m. Driver G Smith advised he did not activate the removeable deafeners as a result.
TEMPO WARRIOR - held up near the 50m.
Race 7   XCM SPORT MOBILE PACE
ROCK N DIAMONDS - contacted track markers when placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 900m. Weakened from the 700m hampering a trailing runner. Stewards questioned driver J Morrison regarding the tactics he adopted near the 700m when shifting ground outwards and weakening shortly after. After hearing from Mr Morrison and trainer K Barron, Stewards adjourned the matter for further consideration. Mr Barron further advised the gelding had struck its knee and shin boots during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with Mr Barron in the coming days.
FLO MOTION - placed in restricted room by an outside runner near the 900m.
SIR MONTY - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
EASTWOOD DREAM - Driver S O'Reilly advised she had been unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
SANTANNA MACH - lay inwards and then shifted inwards near the 900m placing FLO MOTION and ROCK N DIAMONDS in restricted room with ROCK N DIAMONDS striking track markers. Junior driver W House was warned for the manner in which he drove at this stage. When assessing this Stewards took into account the initial move was due to the horse laying in.
THE MATRIARCH - raced wide early.
Race 8   ADDINGTON CUP WEEK 'ON SALE 31 AUGUST' MOBILE TROT
RACEY KRUSA - driver S O'Reilly reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre leaving the final bend.
SALVO - junior driver J Harrington admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly leaving the final bend when allowing his runner to strike the sulky wheel of RACEY KRUSA which punctured. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. When questioned regarding the improved performance Mr Harrington advised the mare had appreciated the return to mobile racing and a drop in class from recent starts.
SUE'S DASH - raced wide early.
PAIGE - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the efforts of driver S Tomlinson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up early in the run home.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver J Young-Grant advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS YOUNG AT HEART MOBILE PACE
MCCRIKEY - held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver B Hope advised the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages.
ULTIMATE BIRD - over-raced and broke near the 2300m losing ground.
JUST HOLLA - raced wide early and then over-raced when being restrained to the rear of the field. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Held up early in the run home.
ONELOVEONELIFE - over-raced middle stages.
SOPHIA BROMAC - pre-race warmed. Over-raced middle stages. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
