After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Hay, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $250. | |

Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had spoken to driver J Hay (ROCKENROLL GRADUATE) placed 4th, who advised his chances had not been affected and elected not to proceed with a protest. Driver J Morrison admitted a breach of Rule 869(7A)(c) in that he forced an inside runner to strike track markers racing into the first bend when shifting ground inwards.
