Race 1   THE NEUMANNS' & SPARKS' 40 YEARS PLUS TROT
The start was delayed due to the barrier strand having to be replaced after breaking.
BRETT'S MATE - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
CRETE PETITE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
GARY PLAYER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
OPAWA PEAK - broke at the start hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JUST RICKY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
MAVIS JONES - trotted roughly in the run home.
MOONDANCE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
QUEEN DOREEN - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
WAIHEMO HANNAH - broke at the start before switching to a pace after being hampered by a breaking runner.

ANN OFATHOUSAND BAYS - broke briefly at the start.
AMERICANO - paced roughly for a distance passing the 1700m. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
RITA - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners. Driver B Orange advised that the mare had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare in the coming days.
RINDERCELLA - broke at the start losing ground. Paced roughly near the 900m.
KIWI RECORD - over-raced middle stages. Held up by a weakening runner final bend. Driver C DeFilippi was issued a warning to ensure he starts wider on the track when drawn unruly.
Trainer P Reedy advised Stewards on 11 July that RITA has been sent for a spell whilst consideration is given to the mare's racing future.
Race 3   BEV LITTLE MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
ELEPHANTINTHEROOM - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Crowded near the 100m. Driver B Weaver admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted outwards near the 1050m forcing PACIFIC CLIPPER wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
PACIFIC CLIPPER - lay inwards late in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Forced wider on the track near the 1050m. Driver T Chmiel was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home.
SIR MONTY - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer G Turner advised the gelding had been unlucky at its last start after being freshened and had benefited from an economical run throughout.
SHANTI BROMAC - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 1150m losing ground after a slight easing of the pace hampering a trailing runner.
DANA DUNDEE - the required veterinary clearance was received.
AMBLESIDE DRIVE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver R Close. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
LOUIE VISTA - paced roughly rounding the final bend when attempting to improve wide on the track. Hung inwards in the run home having to be corrected on several occasions.
THE GOLDEN SKIPPER - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide without cover from the 1100m. Lay inwards near the 100m crowding an inside runner.
HIT THE BEACH - held up leaving the final bend and early in the run home.
Race 4   SUNDEES SON 'SIMPLY THE BEST' TROT
SUE'S DASH - broke at the start before breaking again after 100m losing ground.
GOTTA TICKET - broke near the 450m losing all chance.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - over-raced middle stages.
LOVE POTION - weakened final bend.
SASSY STAR - broke near the 1100m losing all chance.
Race 5   ROSS & ANGELA GORDON MOBILE PACE
AIRIES GOLD - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - driver D O'Connell reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1600m.
JUDGEMENT BAY - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
EXPRESSIVE LOVE - raced wide early.
TOWER OF LOVE - hampered by a weakening runner for a distance passing the 600m. Held up throughout the run home.
HILDA MAUD - broke near the 1600m when racing to the inside of EXPRESSIVE LOVE hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stewards questioned drivers G Ward (EXPRESSIVE LOVE) and B Orange (HILDA MAUD) regarding this incident where it was established that EXPRESSIVE LOVE had initially shifted inwards and when being corrected made contact with the hind leg of HILDA MAUD after that runner had been slow to react when Mr Orange attempted to concede his position. Mr Ward was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground inwards in the initial movement.
HES SANTAS EXCUSE - raced wide from the 800m.
Race 6   DIAMOND RACING 'NUMERO UNO OWNERS' JUNIOR DRIVERS MOB PACE
WINEMEUP - raced wide early. Weakened from the 500m before hampering a trailing runner near the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and signs of muscle tie up. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with co-trainers J & I Thomas in the coming days.
SARGENT BEST - hampered by a weakening runner near the 400m. Held up throughout the run home.
RON MCKINLEY - held up throughout the run home.
SOPHIA BROMAC - slow to leave the pre-race formation. Out of position on the unruly.
Co-trainer J Thomas advised Stewards on 13 July that a subsequent veterinary examination showed WINEMEUP to have a viral infection which is being treated.
Race 7   DIAMOND RACING 'THANKS VETS, SMITHYS & BREAKERS' PACE
KENNEDY - fractious prior to the start. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
WOLF OF WALL STREET - held up throughout the run home. Driver S Thornley advised that the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
CHANCE ON ME - raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
EBURY STREET - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide early stages.
WINNYZBACK - raced wide early and middle stages.
RAPID RESPONSE - held up rounding the final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MARK DUNNETT - raced wide early stages. Lay inwards leaving the final bend briefly crowding an inside runner.
STYLE COUNCIL - slow to begin. Struck a track marker leaving the final bend when briefly crowded by an outside runner. Held up middle stages of the run home.
UPTOWN FUNK - raced wide with cover from the 1300m. Held up leaving the final bend.
SHARDS FURY - raced three wide without cover from the 900m.
PENNETTA - weakened final bend.
Race 8   DIAMOND RACING 'OUTSTANDING STAFF' MOBILE PACE
CHRISLYNN - held up early in the run home.
COURAGE REACTOR - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend. Over-raced early and middle stages.
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - when questioned regarding the improved performance co-trainer K Gill advised that the gelding had been suited to a return to mobile racing.
MOET SHARD - hung inwards racing into the first bend crowding an inside runner despite the efforts of driver J Curtin. Raced wide until being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1200m. Held up middle stages of the run home.
PRECIOUS BELLE - over-raced middle stages.
OLIVER NORTH - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Williamson advised the gelding had responded well to a change in environment after recently joining his stable.
GLENTHORNE - raced wide until being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1300m.
