MOONDANCE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
PAT SCHIVAS - trainer K Cox was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect colours. Broke near the 900m losing all chance.
IRISH SUMMER - hung outwards on various occasions throughout. Broke when weakening near the 400m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
MONARO MEG - late scratching at 9.33am on veterinary advice.
Race 2   PI & GJ KENNARD BLOODSTOCK MOBILE PACE
JACCKA OPA - paced roughly after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of LIZZIE RICHTER near the 800m after a slight easing of the pace. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with connections in the coming days.
PHONE TAP - hung outwards throughout causing driver J Young-Grant considerable difficulty and made the bend by the 900m awkwardly contacting the sulky of JACCKA OPA hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Lay inwards and struck a track marker leaving the final bend when weakening. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BETTERWITHBLING - raced wide from the 1300m. Hampered near the 900m.
TAKEMYBREATHAWAY - raced wide with cover from the 1100m. Hampered near the 900m.
BIG MAMA MORRIS - hampered near the 900m.
ANN SOPHIE - hampered near the 900m.
FLO MOTION - raced wide early. Hampered near the 900m.
APATCHOFGOLD - raced wide early. Over-raced early and middle stages. Hampered near the 900m. Lay outwards for a distance passing the 400m.

Stable representative B Orange advised Stewards on 5 July that JACCKA OPA has been treated for a respiratory infection and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 3   XCM SPORT MOBILE TROT
SUNNY LOUIS - held up early in the run home. Driver J Stormont was warned for anticipating a run near the 200m resulting in him making contact with the sulky wheel of THE FOX. When assessing this incident Stewards took into consideration there had been no consequential effects as a result.
KD HAWK - trotted roughly early stages. Held up early in the run home.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - trainer D O'Connell was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with the incorrect colours. Broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards final bend striking a track marker. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver J Young-Grant advised the removable deafeners were not activated in consequence.
T K MEGASTAR - over-raced middle stages. Lay in and struck a track marker near the 1500m. Held up early in the run home.
LIGHT OF DA MOON - over-raced early and middle stages.
MISSALYSSA - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Tomlinson advised she was disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with connections in the coming days.
Trainer A Faulks advised Stewards on 5 July that MISSALYSSA has been sent for a spell.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD- SUPPORTING OUR FUTURE MOBILE PACE
ALEKS KRISTINA - over-raced middle stages. Jostled for a position with LOUIE VISTA in the run home. Driver R Holmes was issued with a warning for failing to concede his position over the concluding stages. Mr Holmes admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Holmes' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 2 July up to and including 13 July 2023 (3 days).
PATIRO - raced wide early. Driver C Ward was issued with a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 1600m.
ELEPHANTINTHEROOM - raced wide early. Driver B Weaver advised the gelding had cast the near hind shoe during the running.
THE FINISHER - lay inwards checking SPIRITUAL BLISS near the 1100m. Broke near the 900m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Held up leaving the final bend and in the run home.
ULTIMATUM - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
LOUIE VISTA - held up until late in the run home after jostling for a position with ALEKS KRISTINA. Driver R Close was issued with a warning for attempting to shift wider on the track in the middle stages of the run home without having sufficient advantage over an outside runner.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - broke near the 1350m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
KOWHAI NUGGET - held up until late in the run home.
SPIRITUAL BLISS - checked and broke near the 1100m when THE FINISHER lay inwards losing all chance.
Race 5   LUNCHEON FUNDRAISER- SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH CHARITIES TROT
IZIA - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
MASTER CLASS - trainer K Butt advised Stewards the gelding has had its hocks treated since last racing. Broke near the 900m hampering trailing runners. Ms Butt advised the gelding had cast both front shoes during the running.
TRES MAGNIFIQUE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SALVO - hampered on the final bend by a weakening runner.
HARBOUR QUEEN - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
EMILY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
BRIAN BEATT - late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.50am.
GALLEONS AMBASSADOR - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m.
KING OF LOVE - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Raced wide from the 850m.
CHEVAL ROUGE - weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and low grade lameness in the hind legs. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. Trainer R Todd advised he will have the mare further examined in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
AIGUILLE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he was disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Trainer K Townley advised he would have blood tests taken from the gelding in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
Trainer K Townley advised Stewards on 5 July that blood tests taken from AIGUILLE revealed the gelding to be showing signs of a viral infection which is being treated.
Trainer R Todd advised Stewards on 12 July that CHEVAL ROUGE has been sent for a spell.
Race 6   THE TYRE GENERAL MOBILE PACE
DOCTOR TIM - weakened final bend.
VENTURA - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
FERNLEIGH BLACKBIRD - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Close advised the mare had been unsuited to working hard in the early stages to obtain the lead and it would be his intention when possible to drive the mare for one run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
EVANGALIST - co-trainer J Thomas advised the mare has had a coffin joint treated since last racing.
FRANCO SINATRA - driver C Dalgety advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
Race 7   FAULKS INVESTMENTS HANDICAP PACE
ANGEL OF MONTANA - late scratching at 8.54am on veterinary advice.
MAJOR MEMPHIS - weakened final bend.
MIDFREW LUISIANABEAU - broke at the start losing ground.
JACK TAR - broke briefly at the start.
DENY EVERYTHING - when questioned regarding the performance trainer M Jones advised the gelding was racing up in grade and he was not disappointed with the effort.

KILLINCHY KID - over-raced middle stages.
AVA ADORE - over-raced middle stages. Hampered near the 350m.
MARIA ALLEGONDA - locked wheels with MCCRIKEY which lay inwards near the 350m.
CHOCO LOU - hampered near the 350m.
MCCRIKEY - lay inwards and locked wheels with MARIA ALLEGONDA near the 350m hampering trailing runners.
Race 9   HARNESS BID- "HOME OF ZERO COMMISSIONS HANDICAP" TROT
KINK - weakened final bend. Trainer M Nyhan reported that the gelding had some chafing under its spreaders following the race.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
JUBILEE ROCK - weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the filly had over-raced with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
BLACK MACH - held up by a weakening runner for a distance passing the 600m.
OHOKA LE BRON - late scratching at 4.53pm on veterinary advice.
RON MCKINLEY - trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards that the gelding has had a knee treated since last racing.
TREACHEROUS MISS - trainer R Todd advised the filly would be racing without front shoes.
AIMING FOR GLORY - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with connections in the coming days.
BRYCE'S MEDDLE - held up by a weakening runner for a distance passing the 600m.
