AMARETTO FRANCO - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start hampering trailing runners and losing ground. Held up throughout the run home.
REBOUND - over-raced middle stages.
ARNOLD LAYNE - broke at the start hampering trailing runners and losing ground.
HEAVEN - lay inwards striking track markers near the 2100m. Paced roughly late in the run home and had to be steadied.
DULCINEA - held up early in the run home.
PRODIGAL SECRET - briefly hampered by an outside runner passing the 1800m. Weakened final bend.
STUBING - raced wide early.
ANN OFATHOUSAND BAYS - hung inwards abruptly near the 1800m after a slight easing of the pace and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of PRODIGAL SECRET. Driver J Curtin advised the mare had raced greenly throughout.
BLAZING REACTOR - hampered by breaking runners at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Held up until late in the run home.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - hampered by breaking runners at the start. Over-raced through the middle stages.
MEMORIES N HEAVEN - hung inwards and paced roughly racing into the first bend losing ground. Raced wide without cover from the 900m. Again hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend causing driver K Cameron some difficulty.

SUE'S DASH - broke passing the 200m.
HOT SAUCY BETTY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 450m.
CAPPAHA - broke passing the 1700m when leading losing ground.
A LATE LATE PRESSY - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
RUSH - over-raced middle stages. Stewards questioned driver G Smith regarding his apparent lack of vigour in the run home. Mr Smith explained the mare had caused him difficulty after shifting into the passing lane when over-racing and then trotting roughly resulting in him having to steady the horse. Mr Smith further added the mare had again trotted roughly inside the final 50m and was unable to be driven out fully. After viewing the replays and hearing Mr Smith's explanation Stewards took the matter no further.
DHONI TROUBLE - trotted roughly in the run home.
REINDEER TROUBLE - tangled away and broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
BRIAN BEATT - briefly crowded by an outside runner in the run home.
RACEY KRUSA - hampered by a breaking runner in the early stages.
KAHNTDOITALONE - lay inwards throughout the run home briefly crowding an inside runner.
Race 3   FAT EDDIES MOBILE PACE
JAZELLE - over-raced middle stages.
SANTANNA MACH - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
SWEET BELLE - raced wide early. Lay inwards on several occasions throughout the running.
MAGIC FOUR - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he elected not to improve three wide with cover passing the 1600m as he felt the gelding was not suited to racing in the parked position over the longer journey. Mr Dunn added he had attempted to improve three wide with cover from the 700m however ARIZONAWILDCAT which he had been trailing failed to progress forward leaving him poorly placed towards the rear of the field.
LONE WOLF - held up for clear racing room in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised she had been left to race at the rear of the field after the three wide line had failed to progress forward from the 700m and elected to shift inwards on the final bend to save ground.
ULTIMATE BIRD - over-raced middle stages.
DOCTOR TIM - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
Race 4   FAULKS INVESTMENTS MOBILE PACE
JOAN'S RISING STAR - paced roughly passing the 400m having to be steadied. Again paced roughly in the run home.
MIKI'S COURAGE - lay inwards early in the run home and paced roughly over the concluding stages.
FREEDOMS BEAUTY - over-raced middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
BETTOR REACTION - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver G O'Reilly. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
COMMANDER BEN - over-raced middle stages.
ROSE NOIRE - driver R Close was warned for using his whip outside the confines of the sulky in the run home.
SPORTY MISS - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the filly had not been suited to working hard through the middle stages however notwithstanding this he was still disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Trainer K Barron advised Stewards on 12 May that SPORTY MISS has recovered well from its last start and he has made gear changes to the filly prior to resuming.
Race 5   RICO LODGE UNCUT GEMS MARES CLASSIC (MOBILE PACE)
PHONE TAP - weakened passing the 500m hampering trailing runners.
BETTER FLY - weakened final bend.
ARDEN'S DELIGHT - a false start was declared after ARDEN'S DELIGHT broke just prior to the start inconveniencing a runner on the 2nd line. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver S Ottley elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart. Lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers which were dislodged.
APATCHOFGOLD - weakened final bend.
FOLKLORE - raced wide early and middle stages.
MANHATTAN - raced wide early and middle stages. Driver C DeFilippi admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr DeFilippi's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 12 May up to and including 28 May 2023 (5 days).
TAYLA ME - lay inwards near the 1500m and raced inside a track marker. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
ANGEL OF MONTANA - raced wide without cover from the 800m.
SMOKIN ANNIE - held up final bend and early in the run home.

TEST THE BOUNDARIES - trotted roughly in the early stages. Again trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - broke after 150m hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance.
BENNIE AND THE JETS - fractious prior to the start. Broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners and losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BELLA BUTTON - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
HELLOVEAMOMENT - held up early in the run home. Hung outwards passing the 150m when driver S Ottley attempted to shift down the track causing her some difficulty. Shifted outwards near the 100m briefly placing outside runners in restricted room. Miss Ottley was spoken to advisedly to exercise greater care when shifting ground.
MAGIC DASH - briefly crowded in the run home.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - broke near the 800m hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. Driver N Rasmussen reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
MUSCLYNN - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 800m. Briefly hampered near the 100m.
KING OF LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Raced wide early. Held up by a weakening runner final bend.
JIMMY CARTER - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Again hampered by a breaking runner passing the 800m and was forced to race four wide with cover. Shifted inwards early in the run home briefly crowding an inside runner. Driver J Morrison was spoken to advisedly to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
JULIE JACCKA - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Again hampered by a breaking runner passing the 800m and was forced to race four wide without cover. Briefly crowded early in the run home and again near the 100m.
TU TANGATA - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 800m and was forced to race four wide with cover. Broke near the 500m and continued on in a break for a considerable distance losing all chance.
UNICO VACANZA - held up final bend. Trotted roughly in the run home and was unable to be fully driven out.
SON OF PATRICK - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Weakened on the final bend hampering trailing runners.
Race 7   GARRARDS SIRES' STAKES NO.39 3YO C&G (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE
BORRISOKANE - broke briefly racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners. Broke again passing the 900m hampering trailing runners. Broke on a further occasion passing the 400m. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer B Negus reported the gelding will be sent for a lengthy spell.
OPO - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Over-raced at various stages throughout. Again hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Weakened final bend.
CHARLIE BROWN - crowded by an outside runner after 200m. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
FRANCO SINATRA - hung inwards and paced roughly after 200m crowding an inside runner. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Raced wide early.
WHO'S DELIGHT - raced wide early.
SINBAD - checked by an outside runner shortly after the start losing ground.
CAPTAIN TOM - hung inwards shortly after the start despite the efforts of driver B Williamson checking an inside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DON'T STOP DREAMING - driver N Rasmussen advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
MERLIN - hampered shortly after the start and had to be steadied.
VINKE B - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
SOONER THE BETTOR - broke passing the 900m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Held up leaving the final bend. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
OHOKA LE BRON - hampered by a breaking runner near the 900m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 8   BETAVET UNCUT GEMS GELDINGS & ENTIRES CLASSIC (MOBILE PACE)
HESASHORETHING - driver G Smith admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Smith's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 12 May up to and including 21 May 2023 (3 days).
WARLOCH - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Weakened final bend.
ANYTHING GOES - driver N Rasmussen advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
MOSSDALE BEN - over-raced middle stages.
DASHING MAJOR - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the efforts of driver K Newman. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TERRY - held up final bend and early in the run home.
BEACH BALL - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver R May could offer no explanation and was disappointed with the effort. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
GOT YOU COVERED - raced wide early and middle stages. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1100m when being restrained to obtain cover.
HAPPY PLACE - held up early in the run home.
TOMMY WATERHOUSE - over-raced early stages.
COS I CAN - held up final bend and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
HEISENBERG - raced wide early and middle stages.
Driver K Newman (DASHING MAJOR) was warned for using his whip when out of contention in the run home.
Trainer K Chapman advised Stewards on 17 May that BEACH BALL has recovered well from its last start and he has made gear changes to the horse in preparation for racing tomorrow at Addington.
Race 9   FIND YOUR OWN 'COPY THAT' FROM WOODLANDS 25 MAY MOBILE PACE
BETTERWITHBLING - over-raced middle stages when in the parked position.
TYRION - over-raced early when being restrained. Weakened final bend.
KYRAN - over-raced early when being restrained. Hung inwards approaching the 1000m and struck several track markers before being eased down out of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding. Trainer W Stapleton advised the gelding will be examined by his Veterinarian in the coming days and will be sent for a spell. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse with Mr Stapleton.
FULL OF DESIRE - held up passing the 700m by a weakening runner. Lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers.
MAJOR HAPPY - held up by a weakening runner passing the 700m. Driver K Newman reported the sliding blinds failed to fully activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
SOVIET STAR - weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised he had been told by the trainer the gelding had been working well and it was his intention to lead. He added after reaching the lead he was unable to ease the pace when BETTERWITHBLING was over-racing in the parked position but was nevertheless disappointed with the performance. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MOVE IT ON OVER - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early. Lay inwards racing into the first bend when attempting to shift inwards locking wheels with RUBY'S A DELIGHT (S O'Reilly) which broke. After hearing from drivers A Cameron and S O'Reilly a warning was placed on the racing record of MOVE IT ON OVER. Miss Cameron advised she will be recommending gear changes prior to the horse's next start. Raced wide from the 900m.
FERNZ GOLDY - held up final bend.
RUBY'S A DELIGHT - broke racing into the first bend after locking wheels with an outside runner losing all chance.
CARRERA LUCIA - late scratching at 11.25am on Veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
STELLAR ARDEN - raced four wide from the 900m.
IDEAL CHEVRON - raced four wide from the 700m.
Connections advised Stewards on 7 May that subsequent to its last start KYRAN was found to be suffering from a stone bruise and has been treated accordingly.
Race 10   NZB STANDARDBRED UNCUT GEMS TROTTERS CLASSIC (HCP TROT)
ZSA ZOE - the connections advised the mare would be racing in season. Held up early in the run home.
CODY BANNER - trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
HOT TO TROT - broke at the start losing all chance.
ROYDON MUSCLE - tangled away. Held up leaving the final bend.
PARAMOUNT EMPRESS - tangled away. Over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover passing the 1400m. Hung inwards rounding the final bend striking a track marker.
TIME UP THE HILL - lay inwards passing the 2100m striking track markers. Raced three wide without cover from the 1100m.
MAJESTIC LAVROS - broke after 150m losing ground. Held up throughout the run home.
EUROKASH - trotted roughly in the run home.
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the run home.
MATUA TANA - trotted roughly in the early stages having to be steadied. Raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
Race 11   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
MAJOR MEMPHIS - trainer M Jones advised Stewards the gelding has had a bone chip removed since last racing. Hung outwards throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. Mr Jones advised the gelding had peaked on its run in its first start back from a spell and expected the horse to derive considerable benefit from the race.
GLOVER - held up late in the run home.
KALASA - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Over-raced middle stages.
ADESANYA - raced wide early.
FRANCO HOFFMAN - held up early in the run home.
OLD TIME ROCK N ROLL - over-raced in the score up and in the early stages causing driver G Smith some difficulty.
HEY TONIGHT - raced wide from the 700m.
IFYOUSAYSO - held up late in the run home.
