TRIFOLIUM - broke entering the first bend but soon settled. | |
PETRONELLI GEE - driver S O'Reilly reported that the gelding was striking the sulky wheel discs throughout the race. When questioned regarding the improved performance Miss O'Reilly reported that the gelding had been able to capitilise from an economical run after having galloped on the final bend on 14 March. Junior driver S O'Reilly, assisted by driver D Butcher, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when allowing her gelding to contact and puncture the sulky wheel of LOVE IS EVERYWHERE near the 300m. After viewing replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200. | |

After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Doody's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 27 April up to and including 20 July 2023 (6 days). | |
RAGING WHITEBAIT - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
